L’Oreal Volume Collagen 2 in 1 Shampoo and Conditioner Review
Hello Beauties,

Hope you are enjoying your day! Today, I am reviewing a 2-in-1 product L’Oreal. This is the L’OrealVolume Collagen 2 in 1 Shampoo and Conditioner.
Product Details (from the L’Oreal website):

L’Oreal Paris introduces the Volume Collagen line, the 1st haircare routine with collagen, a skincare ingredient known for its plumping properties. Its formula provides 24 hours of weightless, amplified volume: It strengthens and thickens hair, adds texture fibre by fibre and amplifies volume from root to tip.
Price:
CAD $5.99 (Price varies across stores) for a quantity of 385 ml.
My Experience with L’Oreal Volume Collagen 2 in 1 Shampoo and Conditioner:
I have been looking for a good 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner for a long time now. Sometimes, when I am in real hurry, I wish I could skip the conditioner, but my hair is so frizzy and hopelessly tangled without a conditioner that I do not dare skip this step after washing my hair! On such days, I have wished for a product which could clean and condition my hair simultaneously. I have tried a few such 2-in-1 shampoo-cum-conditioner products earlier, but have been terribly disappointed. They did nothing to condition my hair. My hair was left frizzy and difficult to manage. When I came across this 2-in-1 product from L’Oreal, I was tempted to try it because it also claims to contain collagen, which would, as per the claims, add volume to my hair.
This shampoo-cum-conditioner is part of L’Oreal’s “Volume Collagen” range. The shampoo comes in a purple bottle with a flip cap. The cap closes tightly and can be carried along while travelling, if you want to.
The shampoo-cum-conditioner is white in color and has a really good fragrance. The smell lasts on the hair for a day. The consistency of the shampoo-cum-conditioner is quite thick and creamy. It spreads easily in the hair and cleans pretty well. My scalp feels clean and fresh. It does not leave any greasiness.
As far as the conditioning properties of this shampoo-cum-conditioner are concerned, I would say it does a really decent job of it. I find my hair quite smooth after using just this product. The frizz is controlled to a great extent, but not completely eliminated.
I was not sure about the volume-boosting claims of this product, but it does so surprisingly well! My hair appears thicker and bouncy. I normally use a rinse-off conditioner every time I wash my hair and sometimes, the conditioner can weigh down the hair, especially really fine hair like mine, but with this product, since I do not have to use an extra conditioner, my hair appears thicker in texture and voluminous. I am really not sure how far the collagen helps in this, but hey, the end results are good enough!
Do note that I cannot get away with using this 2-in-1 product every time I wash my hair. My hair needs some deep conditioning to control the frizz and tangles, which this 2-in-1 product cannot provide. So, it is good for occasional use when you want to save time, but still have decent looking hair! The voluminous effect lasts for a day, as is claimed by this product.
This shampoo-cum-conditioner did not cause any additional hair fall. I do have a hair fall issue, but it is due to some health conditions. I did not find this shampoo increasing the hair fall by any means.
Pros of L’Oreal Volume Collagen 2 in 1 Shampoo and Conditioner:
- Cleans the scalp well.
- Leaves hair smooth and voluminous for the entire day.
- Controls frizz well.
- Keeps hair looking moisturized without any greasiness.
- Does not cause hair fall.
- Smells good.
Cons of L’Oreal Volume Collagen 2 in 1 Shampoo and Conditioner:
- Does not eliminate frizz completely, but since this is a 2-in-1 product, I cannot really complain.
IMBB Rating:
4/5
