We all at one point of time have faced a common problem during teenage years, that annoyed us the most – acne.  You might have tried hundreds of creams and home remedies to get rid of the acne marks that are left behind on the skin. I would like to discuss the effect of a product that claims to work on the spots – its the L’Oreal Anti-Spot Brightening Essence.  I had severe acne problems since the last three years.  I started using this essence after I was tired of all the other creams and remedies. It claimed of reducing spots in 8 weeks.  Believe me gals, it actually did. As per the information provided with the product, it contains ellagic acid which is a strong antioxidant. It also works by reducing the melanin production and helps the recurrence of dark spots.

My Take on L’Oreal White Perfect Laser Anti-Spot Brightening Essence:

The essence is pale white in colour.  One pump gives you enough amount to be applied on the effected region. It has a fragrance like that of a baby cream and does not bother much.  When applied, it easily blends into the skin without leaving skin oily or sticky.  With quick motions with your finger, the essence blends into the skin. For the first days, I did not see any miraculous results. I was actually a bit disappointed, but after regular use, I was able to see improvement in my skin tone and texture.  I could notice lightening of my spots and decrease in the size of my pores.

Its recommended to use this essence with the day cream from the same range, but I have been applying just the essence. I have been using this product since the past 4 months and there is a great amount of improvement in my skin texture. I have been getting compliments from my family and friends 🙂

I came across this product while I was going through a magazine.  I thought of trying it out as I was disappointed with the results of the other products and then I trusted L’Oreal as a company; my expectations were really high from the product.

What I Like about L’Oreal White Perfect Laser Anti-Spot Brightening Essence:

• It keeps my skin hydrated.
• Did not causew any minor breakouts, even though my skin is oily.
• Evens out skin tone to an extent.
• One bottle (30 ml) lasts for approximately 25-30 days.

What I Do Not Like about L’Oreal White Perfect Laser Anti-Spot Brightening Essence:

• It is a bit expensive at 1299 INR.
• Oily skin people might be apprehensive about trying this product as it is a bit heavy on the skin.

I am a great fan of L’Oreal and would recommend it to my friends, but one thing I would like to mention here is that do not expect immediate results from the product. Keep patience and use it regularly for a minimum of 8 weeks.  Moreover, laser essence compares the results as obtained from ipl (intense pulsed light) session against the regular use of its essence and day cream. This product proves its worth.  Quality is always assured by L’Oreal, so there is no case of doubt here. It can be rated 4/5.
