Lotus Herbal has recently launched a new range of lip balm with four pretty shades. Today, I am going to share my review on Lotus Herbal Lip Lush Tinted Lip Balm in the shade “Pink Guava”. Let’s get into the review.

My Experience with Lotus Herbal Lip Lush Tinted Lip Balm Pink Guava Rush:
Packaging: Lip balm comes in a color-coded paper outlet with some information over it. It looks so girly and pretty. The actual lip balm comes in a coded pink plastic tube with a cap. It looks cute and quite travel-friendly. But, this particular tube doesn’t work smoothly and the bullet is not strong enough so, it already started to break from the base.
Shade: The shade “Pink Guava” is a beautiful cute light pink shade. It looks pretty on the lips and a very natural pink for daily use. Also, the shade is decently pigmented as a lip balm and it can hide light pigmentation as well.
Texture and Quality: The texture of this lip balm is very smooth and soft that glides well. But the formula already started to melt from the tube and each time it broke from the side. I am not sure how long it will last to me. Otherwise, this lip balm gives a nice tint to my lips. It exactly smells like Guava that I personally don’t prefer it a lot, but can’t say it as a con. It is definitely a unique fragrance and first time, I am trying such lip balm.
The formula is very light and smooth. It doesn’t feel sticky at all. It instantly provides soft, smooth and hydrated lips. The hydration cures the dryness but, it can’t repair rough texture for long. I have quite dry lips and it provides me that desired hydration without making me feel greasy. It never clings to dry patches and soothes them as well. It also has SPF 20 which protects my lips from the sun. The color doesn’t settle into the fine lines and doesn’t crease at all. This lip balm transfers but, the softness does not fully vanish.
Staying Power: Without having anything, the lip balm stays on for a decent time on my lips for around 3-4 hours and after that it starts to fade. Like their claim, it doesn’t stay 8 hours at all. After that, it needs reapplication always. Since this is a lip balm, it can’t survive food properly except light snacks.
Overall: The shade looks pretty and it works nice on my lips as a hydrating lip balm. Only it doesn’t last long so, I have to reapply it again and again. After using the four shades, I realized the color and hydration is quite good and it works well. But the quality of this product is really disappointing. Also, want to add one more point that, all these four lip balms are almost same in quality but, they all have different price tags. I have no idea why!

Cons of Lotus Herbal Lip Lush Tinted Lip Balm Pink Guava Rush:
Poor quality bullet that started to break already.
Bullet melts a lot.
Doesn’t last 8hours and needs reapplication.
Can’t repair lips for long.

Color, pigmentation & hydration are definitely good but, the quality of the product is very poor. All the bullets started to melt and break already.
