Hi all,

I am sure you have not heard about this kajal at all and I am quite proud that I spotted this first on the entire IMBB world. Lotus Herbals has launched this new budget-friendly kajal on the same lines as Maybelline Colossal and Lakme Eyeconic. Read on to find out how the kajal fared for me.

My experience with Lotus Herbals Colorkick Kajal:

As a die-hard Indian girl, kajal is one thing I swear by and can’t have enough. So after using the Lakme eyeconic kajal for a long time I was seriously bored. I went to the Lakme counter in my local shop to buy the Absolute kohl utimate but after hearing they have hiked the price, I was kind of bummed. It is then I saw this cute playful Lotus Herbals kajal which looked so much fun. Coming to the review now…take a look:

Packaging:

It is PINK pencil. The outer pink body looks so attractive. The brand and the product name have been written in yellow which looks super stylish. This sure will look pretty in every girl’s vanity. It is a twist up pencil and it is retractable. The cover is made of regular plastic but does not look cheap or plastic-ky. The outer casing has some “looks” which you can try out with this kajal, like the “Day look”, “Dramatic look” and the “Smokey look”. I think it is thoughtful to give a small tutorial for wearing kajal in different ways for amateur makeup lovers.

Texture:

Ladies!! You are going to love this pencil if Lakme Eyeconic kajal was your holy grail till now. I am loving this even more than Lakme Eyeconic right now. The kajal glides smoothly and there is no tugging whatsoever. It is very very pigmented. One swipe is all you need for a good amount of kajal on the waterline.

Shade:

Blackest of black! I am quite happy that I did not buy the Absolute kohl. This one is equally pigmented if not more. When you apply it, it kind of looks glossy but sets into a matte finish soon. This does not look dry at all. In fact, this is even more pigmented than Colossal or Eyeconic kajal.

Staying Power:

It stays on forever! No smudging and it is water proof. I had to use coconut oil (my makeup remover) to remove it completely. It does stay for 7-8 hours easily. It also stays well as an eyeliner on my oily lids. Stays 6+ hours in smokey eyes as well.

  1. This kohl looks like a killer with this price. 😀 I saw this kajal in my local beauty shop but didn’t buy it since I already have too many black kohl but now I am buying it. 😀

  2. I bought this for my mum a couple of days ago! Its absolutely AMAZING! Most under rated kajal! I don’t know why they are not advertising this amazing product yet! 😀 But give it a try girls! Absolute Paisa Vasool! 😀

  3. This kajal is not the typical kajal; its amazing. Just a touch of it is enough to highlight the eyes and its not that expensive too compared to other good brand kajals. However, it doesn’t go off easily. I would consider that as a down-point. But overall good product. True that its little low-profile for such good qualities.

  4. Colour s gud bt m getting irritation in my eye.tear s coming frm d time i applied it in my eye till now.total upset wid dis kajol.my sister also getting same problem by using this.

  5. one of the worst kajals i ve ever used… i cant even open my eyes after i wear it, it starts burning and irritating my eyes… what use is any staying power or black colour when it irrritates your precious eyes so much. totally disappointed, waste of money . did not use it more than twice. horrible product, please dont buy
