Lotus Herbals finally launched its own chubby lip crayons, just like other brands. I love such poppy and vibrant lip crayons for summers and I am glad I picked up this summery shade. I picked up 2 shades called “Rouge Desire” and “Fuchsia Angel”. The former shade has already been reviewed, so I will be reviewing the fuchsia one for you guys. So let’s begin.

My Experience with Lotus Herbals ColorStylo Chubby Lip Color – Fuchsia Angel:

Packaging: The Lotus Herbals lip crayon comes in a nice pink and white box with all the details written over it. It has a cute lip shape opening at the bottom which lets us see the shade through the cut-out; this makes it easy for us to spot these if we own a few. The lip crayon has a colour coded packaging and this one has a hot pink packaging which looks very cute. It has a translucent cap which has to be closed properly else some product might get ripped off. Overall, no flaws with the packaging and it is extremely handy too.

Shade: The shade, Fuchsia Angel, is one of the best pinks I currently own. It is a blend of hot pink and fuchsia which gives rise to this pretty girly pink shade. The fuchsia isn’t very warm or does not have excessive blue undertones. It is a deep fuchsia which will complement all skin-tones beautifully. This shade is a versatile one since it would look great with a floral dress for day-wear and with a sexy LBD for evening-wear too. The shade is super feminine and gives me a very cute pout. I love wearing this shade for boring days when I am not really in the mood to do any makeup since it instantly brightens up my face. A great pink for all!

Consistency and pigmentation: The consistency is extremely creamy and glides like butter on my lips. The creamy texture gives it a glossy finish which looks great and adds glamour to the make-up. The pigmentation is just so amazing as the colour appears on my lips in just one go, this was totally unexpected and I am impressed! It does not bleed nor does it settle into the lines initially. But after 3-4 hours when I have a meal or something, it does settle into fine lines since the colour partially comes off. It does transfer due to its creamy consistency, but it does not bother me since it happens with all of the creamy lip colours.

Staying power: It stays on for good 5-6 hours without food but the colour loses its intensity gradually. But once I have a meal, I can see that the colour partially comes off. With a full meal, it might stay on for around 3 hours or so. It leaves a stain but when it does so, some colour clings to the dry patches on my lips but I do not find major dry patches since this lip crayon has great hydrating properties to keep my lips moisturised.

Overall: Great lip crayons by Lotus Herbals and probably the cheapest ones currently! So grab your favourite shades!

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Lotus Herbals ColorStylo Chubby Lip Color – Fuchsia Angel?
Yes I might, but I am not too sure. I won’t get this shade again because I can find such a shade in other ranges too. But totally recommended since these are great in quality and have loads of shades to select from.
