I will be talking about a new launch from Lotus Herbals that I had bought a few days ago. This product is not yet widely available, but since I stay in Mumbai, some beauty shops here have stocked it up. This is a store-exclusive launch and will take some time to launch online. It is a cream concealer from the brand and now let’s get into the review.

My Experience with Lotus Herbals Ecostay Insta-Hide Creme Concealer:
This concealer from Lotus Herbals comes in a sleek, triangular tube. The wand is attached to the cap which is a beautiful rose gold color. There is no product detail mentioned on the body of the tube except “Lotus Ecostay” written, depicting the range. There was however an outer whole body transparent seal which had to be torn open to reveal the tube. The seal had quite some product information printed, which I ripped off and threw away. The tube is quite handy and travel friendly.
The shade that I had picked up is called “01 Rich Shell,” which probably is the lightest shade. The color is more or less a close match to my skin tone; however, it kind of blends into my skin. The texture is light and aqua base (my assumption) and hence it gets easily blended. This might be a good thing, but the problem is that this results in sheering out of the formula.
A little thicker consistency would be better for covering and camouflaging marks and pigmentation. This is a lightweight, comfortable formula that sits weightlessly on skin and gives a brightened look. This is not a full coverage concealer and at best, it gives medium coverage. It’s easy to layer it up and it doesn’t feel cakey.
I like to use it for brightening up my eye area, which although doesn’t have dark circles, it is a tad darker than the rest of my face. Also, I have redness around my nose (right from birth) which gets pretty much covered with this. For heavy camouflaging, I wouldn’t recommend this concealer. This doesn’t crease and stays well put for close to 6-7 hours. I do powder my skin after using concealer or foundation as I have crazy sebum glands. With a primer, it will last quite longer.

- Sheers out easily.
