Today, I am very excited to share with you all Lotus Herbals store launch here in the Pink City (Jaipur) at World Trade Park. They invited me as their guest and I got this opportunity just because of Rati – a big thanks to her (kisses, happy).

The Director – Mr. Nitin Passi came to launch their very first store.  He talked to me about their products and he was very kind to the customers.  They offered 40% discount to all who wore pink at the event. I got a gift hamper and the product I am reviewing today is a lipstick from the hamper.  The lipstick is called “Shanghai Red 411” and it’s from their Ecostay range.

My Experience with Lotus Ecostay Long Lasting Lip Colour – Shanghai Red:

The product comes in a metallic rose pink packaging with the logo (tiny leaf) on the top of the lipstick.  It comes in a pretty pink pouch, I just love the packaging, overall very classy and new. The shade “Shanghai Red” is a perfect red, more of carrot red shade.  The color would suit all skin tones and it’s perfect for those who love to wear red every day.

The product smells floral and it’s not an irritating fragrance.  The finish of the product is mostly matte, it’s a drying lipstick with a matte finish and gives a perfect moisture finish.  One must apply a lip balm before this to get a perfect finish. The pigmentation of the lipstick is average, but the product is not for chapped lips as the feel is not buttery.  You need just one swipe to get an opaque coverage.

The staying power is good, 4-5 hours without meals and after that the color does not fade off completely. The lipstick claims to contain jojoba oil and aloe vera extracts.  This shade is suitable to be worn for parties, and with a traditional look, even daily wear.  It enhances your skin tone instantly.  Overall, I am quite impressed with the lipstick, but not happy with the formula. This has become my perfect daily wear red and I really want to thank Lotus Herbals for offering me such a pretty shade.  You can try this range as they have some really good shades.

Would I Repurchase Lotus Ecostay Long Lasting Lip Colour – Shanghai Red?

I am not happy with the formula of the lipstick, but this range has some really good shades.  I will try the other shades from this range.

      1. Big bazaar and some stores in Kamla Nagar generally has 50% percent off on Lotus herbals makeup.I remember buying the blush, face powder and 2 glosses on 50% discount. Now I will definitely buy lipsticks from this range. *happydance*
