I have reviewed “Orange Splash” and “Raisin Rum” from Lotus Herbals Pure Colors range previously. This lipstick is aptly named “Fairy Flash” because it is a touch of peach in a lip balm like texture and feel. This color may not be very suitable for warm skin tones as it is very milky. Nevertheless, look how pretty it looks, and all the four colors that I purchased are from different color families, so kudos to the brand Lotus Herbals.

My Experience with Lotus Herbals Fairy Flash Pure Colors Lipstick:
“Fairy Flash” is a milky peach shade. Fairy is a good word to be attached to this shade. The texture is like a tinted lip balm. All my Lotus herbals lipsticks mostly feel like tinted lip balm. They are never thick or opaque.
Though I am a cakey lipstick lover, this sort of a light wash of color with loads of moisture is good to top over other deeper lipsticks. Also, if you are a college girl, these lipsticks will give you a wash of color with moisture without looking too dark or thick for day wear.
This range has a lot of shades to choose from – my favourites are Pink Blush and Peach Creme. This “Fairy Flash” shade is very light and not enough to cover my lip pigmentation. My lips are lighter and this shade has to be layered on to make it work. Otherwise, it is a good idea to mix it with a deeper orange or red lipstick too. I mix my lipsticks all the time.
The lipstick has poor color payoff as you can see, it will bleed and accumulate in flaky lips, but overall, this has a good moisture content to it, making lips smooth and plump. It lasts for 2 hours or so with a mild stain.
If you like light lip crayons and tinted lip balm, you can check this out. Though this shade is only meant for very light skin, this can be mixed up with other colors.

- Pretty milky peach shade.
- Feels like a tinted lip balm or lip crayon.
- Smoothens lips, feels very moisturising.
- Good for day wear.
Cons of Lotus Herbals Fairy Flash Pure Colors Lipstick:
- Very sheer for me.
- Very milky for warm skin tones.
- Has to be layered on pigmented lips.
- Lasting power is low due to the sheer texture.
Would I Repurchase/Recommend Lotus Herbals Fairy Flash Pure Colors Lipstick?
Like I said, only pale skin tones and those who like the look of lip balms or lip crayons can try this. If you want a bold, deep matte lipsticks, this will not make you happy.
