Lotus Herbals Raspberry Lip Balm Review

Lotus Herbals Raspberry Lip Balm Review

Lotus Herbals Raspberry lip balm

I like buying lip balms in different flavours. I bought this because I absolutely love raspberries. Sometimes, I even buy multiple units of the same flavours that I like, just in case, they run out of it or the company stops manufacturing them. I live in the constant fear that if I really start liking something, it will be discontinued (it has happened to me before!!).

I bought this lip balm because I was bored of the strawberry one and I wanted to try something new. This was two years ago and I have been in love with it ever since.

What Lotus Raspberry Lip Balm Claims:

The lip balm’s highly active moisturising formula helps to repair dry, cracked and chapped lips and protects them from the drying effect of cold, dry winds of winter, making them looks look healthier and smoother.

Directions For Use:

Apply evenly to lips as necessary. Use twice daily.

Active Ingredients:

Raspberry extract, honey, jojoba oil, almond oil, wheatgerm oil.

What it Does?

If you have dry and chapped lips, use the creamier lip therapy. These lip balms are more of a maintenance product, which will protect your lips, but if they are chapped or very dry, these balms are not effective. I love the smell, it smells very fresh and the balm looks almost edible.

In the tub, the balm looks very red, but it just provides a bit of sheen for me. The colour has the slightest tinge of red colour when applied.

Price:

When I bought it, it was Rs. 89 and now, it is Rs. 125.

Pros:

• The smell of raspberry.
• It has a very smooth texture.
• The list of ingredients is full of good things. I feel very happy every time I look at it.
• Keeps my lips moisturized for a long time.

Cons:

• Tub packaging. You have to take out the balm using your fingers

Will I Buy it Again?

Yesssss. Let me finish the other two tubs first 😛

  1. I have used this one very regularly during my Collg days.,…infact all my girl frnds used this one very religiously—There was a small joke on it ..hence we used to call it SIR LOtus…

Though it was not that effective. and somehow the shine it has disappears too fast.

Anyways coming back to lip balm genre…I have a huge problem that if I keep using a particular product it stops working for me effectively ,,thats what happened to Lotus lip balm and now done with Nivea as well..

I think now i m going to lay hands on ORiflame Lip therapy…heard its good.

    1. Madzzy, Did you try the Lotus lip therapy? Its a lot more creamier and effective for chapped lips. This one doesn’t help dry lips :nababana: Do tell me if Oriflame turns out to be better

  2. I have hoarded the ornage flavour of this so much during my college days. 😛 I will check the raspberry one :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:
