Quite a while ago I picked this newly launched sunscreen from Lotus Herbals. I was actually looking out for a good day cream and this totally solved my problem because it looked like a nice day cream with SPF. It belongs to the “whitening” range and there was one more sunscreen with more SPF. So as of now, let’s see how this worked for me!
Price: Rs 325
This unique formula is made up of potent natural herbs, which makes it suitable for all skin type. Its SPF 30 PA+++ protects from sun induced damage. It has advanced whitening boosters with vitamin B3 which gives instant whitening, reduced dark spots and add glow to the face along with complete sun protection.
Apply all over the face and neck after cleansing. Reapply every 2-3 hours for optimum sun protection.
My Experience with Lotus Herbals Safe Sun Whitening+ Sun-Block Crème SPF 30 PA+++:
The packaging this time is not the regular orange sunscreen packaging, probably because the range is different, that is “whitening+”. I was a little hesitant to pick this because I always want more SPF but since winters are going on, I thought SPF 30 would work fine for me. It comes in a very handy tube in an inverted packaging which helps to squeeze out the needed amount. The hole which lets out the sunscreen is very nicely designed and due to the consistency, excess amount doesn’t come out on its own.
The sunscreen comes in white colour and the consistency is actually thick. But when I layer it on my face, it is extremely smooth. It gets absorbed very well on a thoroughly cleansed face. So I wash my face and massage it for a minute and then it gets absorbed. What I loved about this one is that it does not feel heavy on my skin like the other Lotus sunscreens. When I put on the other sunscreens, they make me sweat a lot since they are heavy and warm. This does not leave any greasy feeling or film behind on my face. It gives an instant whitening effect to my face along with a nice subtle glow which looks adorable and extremely fresh.
My skin doesn’t look dull at all; in fact it looks one tone fairer temporarily. I can totally skip the BB cream if I am wearing this. It adds a dose of freshness to my skin which does not oxidise at any point. It did not work a lot on my dark spots (wasn’t expecting it either). It moisturises my skin really well even during the current season and I cannot see any dry patches over my skin. So technically, this is the best ever sunscreen from Lotus, but I would definitely go for a higher sunscreen for summer!

Will I Repurchase/Recommend Lotus Herbals Safe Sun Whitening+ Sunblock Crème SPF 30 PA+++?
Yes, I definitely will. I always need something like this in my life which works as a day cream cum sunscreen. And I really liked this over the other sunscreens from Lotus because the earlier ones felt a little too heavy on my face while this does not. Highly recommended if you are okay with SPF 30!
I always rely on Lotus sunscreens because they work the best, so if you are planning to pick one, then definitely get Lotus.
