Lotus Herbals Whiteglow Hand and Body Lotion Review

Lotus Herbals Whiteglow Hand and Body Lotion Review

I have been using the same moisturizers for my skin every now and then, some are good for some factor while some other moisturizers have some other good feature.  I was still missing that complete care for my skin. I have heard a lot many people talking on IMBB about the “Whiteglow” range from Lotus Herbals.  I have just used their scrub and quite like it, so I decided to give a body lotion from the same range a try. The added benefit was that it contained SPF 25 and PA+++, all known to be good for the skin.  Please read out more to know about “Lotus Herbals WHITEGLOW Skin Whitening & Brightening Hand & Body Lotion SPF25|PA+++.”

My Experience with Lotus Herbals Whiteglow Hand and Body Lotion:

The lotion is of normal to thick consistency and milky white in color.  It smells highly of grapes. All in all, it is a sweet-citrusy smelling lotion. Don’t worry sensitive noses, the smell is not at all overpowering and thus will not linger on for more than 20 minutes.  In spite of being of a slight thick consistency, it gets absorbed easily into the skin by slight massaging.

Whiteglow

I noticed a slight whitish cast on my skin after massaging the lotion, but that vanished within 10 minutes or so. As far as the whitening and brightening claims are concerned, I have not seen any improvement in my skin color, but to mention, I have not seen any discoloration due to tanning as well. There were some uneven toned areas on my arms, but that has gone too. It has made my skin smooth and good to touch and feel. I feel with regular application, it would be more beneficial for the skin.

Pros of Lotus Herbals Whiteglow Hand and Body Lotion:

  • Sinks well into the skin making it soft and smooth.
  • Keeps dryness at bay for the whole day.
  • Contains SPF 25 with PA+++
  • A little quantity (say one pump) is enough for both the hands.
  • Divine smell.
  • Nice packaging.
  • Easily available.

Cons of Lotus Herbals Whiteglow Hand and Body Lotion:

I could not find any con, but the ingredients list looks chemically loaded, but that’s a common thing with all the beauty products 🙁

Finally, I would like to say that I would definitely purchase it over and over as this has become my favourite moisturizer.

  5. Hi.. I have been using this for past 2-3 months now and my bottle has just reached half the mark :)… It is a great lotion. but it does not have any lightening effect on my hands… however it sure does prevent from more tanning.. its not travel friendly 🙁

  6. well, i find this cream really thick in consistency and is really greasy . Few people say that as it is summer now,it is not ideal to use this body lotion. even i felt so because of its thick consistency. it really makes my skin sweat like hell and skin lightening results are okaayyyy ( not that good n at the same time not that bad)
    As a result , i would rate this a 6/10
