Lotus Herbals Whiteglow Skin Whitening and Brightening Cleansing Milk Review

It feels so good to write after a break, and I could not be happier. I’ve got such great support and love from Jomol di and the IMBB team that makes me want to write more So, today I will be reviewing a cleanser from Lotus Herbal’s Whiteglow range. I’ve been using this for a while, and it’s half empty now.

My Take on Lotus Herbals Whiteglow Skin Whitening and Brightening Cleansing Milk:

The cleansing milk comes in a white colored bottle with a white cap which is a bit flimsy. The bottle has a pump that dispenses the product through pumping mechanism which I find super convenient. It is travel friendly, but the cap has to be watched. The details like the ingredients and directions are mentioned on the other side of the bottle.

The cleansing milk is white in color and has a sweet fragrance to it. The fragrance may be bothersome to some. The consistency is like that of a lotion, only a bit more runny. I use this to cleanse and remove makeup at the end of the day. It does its job effectively and removes every bit of oil and dirt along with makeup. It spreads easily on skin and it has to be rubbed several times so that it mixes with the makeup and makes it easier to remove.

It takes about 2-3 rubs after which it needs to be rubbed away with a cotton ball which completely cleanses away makeup. I’d recommend massaging it a bit more for maximum cleansing. It does a good job  of removing stains of lipsticks as well. As it can be seen in the picture, it has effectively removed all the residue of makeup. I finish it off by cleansing once more with water or a damp cotton ball, just to make sure; it can be skipped.

I am quite happy with how it works and how it hasn’t posed any problems on my skin so far. On the downside, it contains parabens which I despise. The brightening-whitening claims are far-fetched and I don’t think they work either. Other than that, it is a pretty good cleanser.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Lotus Herbals Whiteglow Skin Whitening and Brightening Cleansing Milk?
Except for the whitening claims, this is a pretty good cleanser I’ve come across and I may repurchase it soon.
