My Experience with Lotus Make-Up Mint Hypnotica Pearl Shine Long Lasting Eye Liner:
Packaging: This liner comes in a red outer cardboard packaging. The actual liner comes in a very tiny black pot with a very long green handle. The tip is “felt tip” and is hard but is easy to apply on the lids. The packaging is pretty tiny and very cute. The long handle reminds me of Louboutin’s nail paints. The felt tip enables you to create a very fine line hence giving you maximum precision. The bottle doesn’t leak even when kept horizontally, which is great!
Colour/Pigmentation: ‘Mint’ isn’t really mint colour at all! It’s a forest green or emerald green shade. It has “pearly shine” as they put it. The green and the pearl finish blend in really nice and create a gorgeous green shade. It looks very beautiful on the eyes and it’s something different from the regular drugstore liners. The pigmentation is nice too. You need two layers to make it completely opaque.
Texture: The formula is nice, it is neither too thick nor too thin. It goes on nice and smooth on the lids. It dries pretty quickly and doesn’t smudge much. What I like the most is that, the shimmers do not spread everywhere when you take it off with a makeup remover. It also comes off very easily with just two swipes of a wet wipe. Also, it doesn’t flake or crumble, which is a yay!
Staying Power: It stays on for 3-4 hours which isn’t what they claim. They claim to be long lasting and I don’t think it is long lasting. But I don’t mind as I won’t wear it every day. But when I do wear it, the colour does stand out, which I love and look forward when purchasing eye liners and kajals. Summing up the pros and cons,

Yes to both! This is a very unique product at such an affordable price. Usually to get such shades, you have to look in high end brands.
