So, when my The Ordinary products nearly came to an end and I was waiting for my shipment, I decided to try the Lotus Professional DermoSpa range. In this post, I will review the ‘Bulgarian Rose Glow and Brightening Enhancing Face Wash’. I am using this face wash for a couple of weeks now and have fallen head over heels for it. Active Organic Ingredient:
Bulgarian rose: Moisturizes the skin and makes it glowing and brightening. Also have antiseptic and astringent properties.
Directions:
Dampen the face and neck. Place a small amount of dermoSpa Bulgarian rose glow and brightening enhancing face wash on the tips of fingers and gently lather into entire face (including the eye and neck area) using small circular movements. Rinse with clear water. Follow up with dermoSpa Bulgarian rose skin radiance crème.
My Experience with Lotus Professional DermoSpa Bulgarian Rose Glow and Brightening Enhancing Face Wash:
Packaging:
The face wash has a wonderful packaging. It comes in a brown tube with roses printed near the cap area. The tube has a flip top that shuts tightly, ensuring no spillage or leakage. Overall, the packaging is quite beautiful and travel-friendly.
Texture and Fragrance:
The face wash has a gel-like texture with a runny consistency. Because of the consistency, one has to squeeze the tube carefully as it may lead to product wastage. The face wash is almost transparent and spreads out easily without any issue.
The fragrance is mesmerizing. It has a mild and gracious aroma of roses which does not seem artificial at all. In fact, it actually feels as if I am sniffing real roses. The fragrance does not linger post rinsing the face wash. I’ve a sensitive nose and still feel the fragrance is quite pleasant and refreshing.
Usage/Results:
Only a pea size is more than enough for the face and neck area. I have to squeeze out the face wash carefully to prevent wastage. As directed, I dampen my face and neck and apply the face wash. After a few circular movements, I rinse off the face wash with clean water. It gets rinsed off easily without leaving any sticky residue behind. Then I follow up with the Bulgarian Rose Skin Radiance Creme.
Post rinsing, it instantly brightens up the face and the effect lasts around 4-5 hours, if I don’t use the Bulgarian Rose Creme. I feel this is a great result for a face wash. Moreover, I cannot get over the glow it provides to the skin. In addition, with the use of the cream from this range, the effects last longer.
Nowadays, I am experiencing dryness under the eyes. But, the face wash moisturizes the eye area pretty well and reduces flakiness as well. Thus, it is safe to say that it moisturizes the skin very well. In fact, oily skinned beauties can even skip the cream. I always use this face wash for my eye area and it has never irritated it. The regular usage of this face wash has also reduced redness and made my skin softer and smoother.
