Skin type: combination
I am back with another review. 🙂 This product too is from Lotus’ professional range called ‘Hydravitals. I was in search of a good but affordable cleanser when I finally thought of giving this one a try. Let’s see how it worked for me.
Price: INR 395 for 250 ml
Product Description: Gentle cleansing action ensures skin is thoroughly cleaned yet not rid of moisture. Darkening of cotton balls is the sign of makeup, dirt removal, etc. Gently cleanse and soften your skin by leaving a hydrating film by applying this Hydravitals Milk Enzymes and Turmeric Moisturizing Cleanser from Lotus Professional. It is suitable for extremely dry to normal skin and is available in a pump bottle with a liquid formulation.
My Experience with Lotus Professional Hydravitals Milk Enzymes and Turmeric Moisturising Cleanser:
The words ‘milk enzymes’, ‘turmeric’ and ‘moisturizing’ really caught my attention while buying this product. Since I have a combination skin type, I don’t understand when it turns oily and when it gives me dry patches. The packaging of the product is quite simple and you get a good quantity for the price. It comes in a light green bottle with a pump dispenser. I don’t consider it travel-friendly since the bottle is quite big in size.
Talking about the texture of the cleanser – it is smooth and slippery, just like pure butter. Also, the texture is so good that you can easily use it as a massage cream too. I use this cleanser many times when I don’t feel like going out but just giving my face a little massage to remove tan and improve blood circulation. I use a bit of this cleansing cream with chilled water and massage it on my face for 5-10 minutes in circular motions. It gives me such a glowing, soft and supple skin afterwards. It gives instant glow after massage and the moisture stays on all day long. It is thick and light yellowish in color and cleanses all the makeup and dirt deeply, without taking the moisture away.
The moment you apply this cleanser on your face, you are free from all the dirt and makeup. This can also be used on the eyes as it is gentle. It has a mild fragrance of turmeric which I don’t really like but is not a big problem to me. It suits dry skin types the best since it has given my combination skin some bumps. But those little red bumps left my face in two days with the help of a little cold compress. So I would suggest girls with dry skin grab this product and the ones with oily skin stay away from it. I would use it in the winter months when my skin develops dry patches again.
