Skin type: combination and acne prone

Those who are following IMBB updates every day might be knowing that this is the latest range that I tried for skin-care. I have already reviewed the face wash, skin polisher, day crème and night cream, and here is the last product from the range called “serum”! See how this serum worked for my skin.

Active Ingredients:
Amla Berry- Effective skin lightening agent.
Lychee- anti oxidant, boosts moisture & promotes healthy skin.
Punarvana Root- Promotes lighter, uniform complexion.
Directions for Use: Every AM and PM, after cleansing Lotus Phyto RX Whitening & Brightening face wash, apply all over face and neck in conjunction with Lotus Phyto RX Whitening & Brightening Crème.
My Experience with Lotus Professional Phyto-Rx Whitening and Brightening Serum:
Packaging: The serum comes in a little glass bottle with the details written over it. The glass bottle is handy but we just need to be a little careful. The bottle is a translucent one so I can see the quantity being used. The bottle is accompanied with a white cap and a button like thing on the top to be pressed which is attached to the dropper. The dropper dispenses the needed quantity. The entire packaging is flawless.
Consistency, smell and feel on the skin: The consistency is neither very thick nor runny. It is perfect for a serum. The serum comes in white colour, resembling the claims that the product makes. It feels very light on the skin and gets absorbed in 2 minutes or so after a nice massage. It gives a slight warming sensation but that goes away in a minute. It might feel a little heavy for very oily skin. It smells brilliant. It smells very pleasant of lychee and amla and revives the senses totally. The entire range smells similar. This fragrance stays on my face for a while and then fades away.
Results: The serum gives my face an instant glow making my face look a lot fresher. The best part about the serum is that it adds a lot of hydration and makes my skin 10 times smoother instantly. My skin surface feels very smooth and does not feel parched or bumpy. It gives a good brightness to my skin which is why my skin does not look dull at any point.
It brightens my skin but does not whiten. It may remove a very little tan but there is no such whitening. My skin-tone looks almost the same, just the acne scars have faded a bit. So, a good serum for daily use, but do expect any whitening.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Lotus Professional Phyto-Rx Whitening and Brightening Serum?
No, I wouldn’t buy it again! Nor would I recommend it! I have an HG serum called VLCC De-Pigmentation Serum, so I would still stick to that because it works better.
Conclusion: The range is good for daily maintenance of skin if used together, but separately the results are very slow.
