I really liked the Lotus Professional PHYTORx Ultra-Protect Sunblock SPF 70 PA+++ as it was tinted and gave high protection without feeling tacky or uncomfortable. I spotted this sunblock mist and picked it up mostly due to the intriguing “mist” factor. Read on to know more about Lotus Professional PhytoRx Sunblock Mist SPF 50 PA+++.

My Experience with Lotus Professional PhytoRx Sunblock Mist SPF 50 PA+++:

The packaging is smart and handy. It is a fun yellow plastic bottle with a nozzle dispenser and a protective translucent cap. The outer paper carton comes with detailed information about the product. Dates and other details are mentioned on the body as well; hence you can toss away the outer cover.

Lotus sunscreens have always been a winner so when I saw it in the mist form, the lazy me wanted it so badly. I was both surprised and disappointed to see it is only sunscreen lotion in bottle packaging. The nozzle squirts out the product unevenly which is slightly messy in my opinion. The lotion is lightweight and gets absorbed pretty well. Thankfully it does not feel sticky or heavy on the skin and hence gives an overall comfortable feel.

There is a mild typical fragrance to the lotion which is nothing bothersome and since it has high protection with PA +++ it is definitely good for the skin. I just wish it came in aerosol kind of packaging and watery texture, else naming it as a mist is delusion. There is no point in packing a lotion in a spritz bottle and naming it as a sunblock mist.
