I have been obsessed with Louis Vuitton Rose Des Vents perfume and recently, on my last trip to Paris, I picked up their “Dans La Peau” perfume. This fragrance is right up my alley and it is much more stronger than Rose Des Vents. Read on further for more details on this perfume.

My Experience with Louis Vuitton Dans La Peau Perfume:
This Louis Vuitton fragrance comes housed in a thick glass bottle with a magnetic cap on it. The bottle has quite a good weight to it and so has the cap. The name of the fragrance is printed on the bottle itself and the lid has the “LV” logo on it. The store gave us an option to get any name or date engraved on it to make it more personalized, and I got my marriage date engraved on this bottle❤. You can also get it refilled from any of the LV stores when your bottle gets empty.
“Dans La Peau” is a beautiful scent. It is strong but very delicate at the same time. This fragrance is for women who likes strong fragrances. On the initial spray, the leather note is quite prominent, but it dries down in a few minutes and becomes slightly fruity.
It opens up as a really soft leather perfume with slightly smokey and musky notes, but as soon as it settles down, you can smell slightly fruity-floral scent. I generally don’t like jasmine in fragrances, but I love this perfume so much that I had been wearing this scent throughout my trip abroad. I personally like wearing it both day and night time and I feel this is appropriate all year round.
The sillage for this fragrance is really soft and it lasts on me for more than 10 hours, after which it becomes slightly light, but you can still feel the scent lingering around.
