After the Aveeno Skin Relief Body Wash disappointment, I was determined to look for a better option to hydrate my skin. I found this lotion at my local drugstore and I have been using it since then.

The lotion comes in a very sturdy plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. I am glad they thought of putting a pump because this is the smaller size bottle and still so heavy.

My Experience with Lubriderm Advanced Therapy Lotion:

I am using the body butter and lotion from Bath and Body Works as well as Victoria’s Secret, but there are some very rough and itchy patches on my skin that require something more, like having industrial strength, LOL!

This body lotion claims to improve the skin within 24 hours of use and since it is specially designed for severely dry skin, I did want to give it a try. So far, I have been using it on my arms and legs every day after shower with more emphasis on my shoulders that had developed a rough patch. I really like the results as the roughness and itchiness has reduced to a major extent.

The consistency of the lotion is between a cream and a lotion – it’s not super thick nor very watery, just the right texture and absorbs like a dream. The hydration remains till the next day without any issues of dryness and what I love the most about it is the pump (it makes life so easy) and the non-greasiness. I have sent one to my father as well who is a diabetic and gets skin issues from time to time. He too has found that this lotion makes his skin condition better and maintains hydration.
