Lush None of Your Beeswax Lip Balm- Review
Hey All,

I am a fan of Lush. I first discovered it when I was roaming aimlessly on the streets of Nuremberg in Germany in the summer of 2007. I saw the store and entered and the SA there was probably the sweetest German I had ever met. She gave me a detailed overview of the company and tried several products on my skin and finally on her insistence I bought about 4 products from Lush and since then, I am in love with this company and its fresh made skin care products. Though some of their products have disappointed me but most of them have elated me. This lip balm falls in the second category.
What the Company claims about the product:
You may not realize it, but our vegan customers can appreciate how difficult it is to find lip products made without beeswax or honey. We invented this lip balm for them! A light, citrus blend that leaves your lips beautifully soft, None of Your Beeswax tastes of lemon, mandarin and vanilla. If that wasnโt fantastic enough, we add extra virgin coconut oil, murumuru butter and carnauba wax (as an alternative to beeswax) to keep your lips soft and supple. It’s so delicious that all the non-vegans have been using it, too.

Features:
Vegans, this balm is for you! None of Your Beeswax is free of honey and beeswax.
Refresh your pout:
We suggest keeping a pot of this one in your desk, on your night table and in your bag.
Murumuru butter:
Murumuru is a light emollient that softens and refreshes sore lips.
Price:
Rs. 640 for a tin
My take on Lush None of Your Beeswax Lip Balm:
If are not aware of what Vegan is, let me tell you that Vegan means not having anything derived from animals or animal products. And that is the reason they have named it None of Your Beeswax. Beeswax is a product that is derived from the honey bees. So, while most of the lip balms use beeswax, this uses carnauba wax!
In my opinion, it is an amazing lip balm. I am not a vegan but I still appreciate their efforts to produce something for Vegans. Few days back, I hurt my lips badly. I think I used an expired lipstick and that gave me badly chapped lips (and in that frustration I threw away 5 lipsticks ๐ ). I am going minimalist these days.
On the first application itself, it gave me soft lips! Trust me, I loved it. It made my lips soft and supple in just one night. The balm is a bit grainy in texture but it does not feel coarse at all. It just looks so. It tastes of lemon and vanilla and its smell does not linger on for long. It is not at all shiny, glossy and nor waxy though it is a bit thick to apply but I think people with dry lips prefer thick balms for they stay long.
On the first application, it may give a tangy sensation but I think that is because of the lemon. Otherwise it is soft and gentle to apply. I have found my HG lip balm. Im loving it since I started using it last week.
Pros of Lush None of Your Beeswax Lip Balm:
- Works like wonders on lips.
- Made up of totally natural ingredients.
- Didnโt cause any allergy or anything to my lips.
- Comes in a tiny tin so no plastic! Thatโs my personal preference.
- Is not shiny, glossy and does not spread outside lips.
- Does not feel heavy on lips; melts right away.
- Amazing fragrance.
- One tin lasts for about 3-4 months.
Cons of Lush None of Your Beeswax Lip Balm:
- A little expensive but then you forget the price on first application itself.
