What is it:
FUN is a wonderful brand new invention from LUSH! It’s a soap, a bubble bath, a shampoo – and a toy!
It’s also preservative-free, great value for your money and lasts forever (well, almost!) FUN turns bathtime into playtime, and best of all, we’ll donate 2.5% of total sales to the FUNd.

About FUN Pink from the Lush-USA Website:
Sweet and cheerful vanilla and tonka
You may be forgiven for wanting to take a bite out of this sweetie – try to resist. Wash your hair and body with it instead!
Bathtime just got sweeter with this vanilla and tonka confection.
Next time your little sweetie asks you for a treat, satisfy their candy cravings with Pink FUN. This vanilla and tonka scented bubbler delivers a cheerful childhood blast from the past. The sugary scent will remind you of trips to the corner store to load up brown paper bags with your favorite penny treats. Resist the urge to take a bite of this bright roll, despite how tasty it may smell. Instead, we recommend you mold this one into a pair of portly pigs or a collection of pretty bon bons, then toss them in the tub for mounds of creamy candy bubbles. Simply delicious!

My Experience with Lush Fun Moldable Soap Pink

Lush -Fun also comes in Blue, Green and Yellow. When I saw the announcement of this product in their website back in November , I was not very keen about buying it. It looked like a product for kids. But I changed my mind during my visit to LUSH store. They had made it in different shapes and it looked interesting and I thought of giving it a try. Out of all FUN, I liked the way the Pink one smelled. That’s the reason I chose it.

It came wrapped in a polythene paper like a big toffee. It has a sweet smell, but not overly sweet. Most of the lush products spreads the smell so much that if you store it in some place, the whole place will smell of that product 🙂

It has the consistency of play dough and you can take how much ever needed for one use and re-shape the remaining and store. I need about the size of an amla for body wash. I use it on its own, or with my bath loofah or wash cloth. It’s kind of tricky to use it with loofah as it hard to use it without letting it fall down.

First time , I broke a little piece from the product and tried to use my hands to spread it over my body. Due to its texture and size, it was difficult use that way and it was keep slipping from my hands. Also it lathers very less when I used it like that. But when I used it with a loofah or bath towel it produced decent amount of lather and that way its easy to wash off too.

Though they claim that it can be used for washing both hair and body, but I didn’t take the risk for trying it on my long hair as it might be difficult to wash it off, if it gets stuck in my hair. But I did make my husband use it for his hair and he didn’t complain about it ☺. So it can be used on hair too.

It has a shelf life of a year and 2 months. The strength of the fragrance reduces over the time though the texture is same. But as they suggest it’s better to use it off with-in 4 months to get the full fragrance out of this product.

Lets see the pro’s and con’s of this product.

Pros of Lush Fun Moldable Soap

1. Very creative product
2. I like the way it smells.
3. Leaves skin soft and clean
4. If you have small kid who don’t like bathing, you can try using this and they might like the bathing experience ☺

Cons of Lush Fun Moldable Soap

1. As a bath product wise I don’t have any complain about this but it can get a little messy to use with it on its own or with a loofah.

Final word:
It truly a creative product and I have never tried anything like this before. It tried this just for fun and if you are a fun loving person too, you can give it a try. Otherwise its yet another bath product and there is nothing extraordinary about this 🙂
