Lush Let the Good Times Roll Cleanser Review

Lush Let the Good Times Roll Cleanser

Hello Ladies,

Today I am going to share with you all my experience with the Lush “Let the good times roll” cleanser.

What it is? Gently exfoliating polenta cleanser. A luxuriously soft and sweetly-scented cleanser, Let The Good Times Roll has quickly become a huge fan favorite. Maize flour, corn meal and a dash of cinnamon powder gently exfoliate and leave you with a vibrant glow, and lightly hydrating corn oil helps skin to retain its moisture and elasticity. With its rich butter-caramel fragrance and velvety texture, no wonder this one is so popular!

My experience with Lush Let the Good Times Roll Cleanser:

I love the exfoliating cleansers from lush. They are gentle enough for daily use and keep skin in good condition. I have tried Angles on Bare skin and Bouche De Noel. Loved them both.

Let the good times roll was once a limited edition cleanser which came only during Christmas time. People have raved so much about it that Lush made it a regular product.

When I went to the Lush store to buy it last November, it was out of stock. The SA gave me a small tub of sample to try. It was like a pastry mix with some dried flower particles in between. I tried it for couple of days and really liked it and went ahead and bought full size of it.

The full size was more wet than the sample. It looked like it had more oil content in it. It smells so delicious like vanilla cake mix to me. And it is not very gritty too like Lush’s other cleansers of this kind. It has an even texture and it is not at all harsh on skin. I would say the texture is comparable to basan powder.

I do not mix it with water prior to applying on face like I did with other lush cleansers. That way it would become runny and will be a big mess. Instead I wet my face and then apply a pea size product directly onto my cheeks, forehead, nose and chin and start rubbing it in circular motion. That way it does not become messy.

As I rub it on my face, I can feel the product working on my skin. I massage it all over my face avoiding the eye area and on my neck for about 1-2 minutes. I use warm water to wash it off. After washing it off , it does feel a bit slippery. I did not had this problem with other 2 Lush cleansers. I don’t like the slippery feel on my skin 🙁 I can live with it in winter but not during summer months. Skin feels ok after drying though.

This cleanser would be great for dry skinned beauties, but not for people with oily skin. I have combination skin and it works so-so for me. Like all other Lush cleansers this product is not made to remove makeup. So wipe off your makeup before using this.
