Hi all…this is the first time ever that I am writing a review and I am kinda nervous and kinda excited so fingers crossed!
The product I am reviewing today is something that I have been lusting after for a long time. It’s the Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner from lush. I am a total Lush fan and this product has been on my wishlist for some time now. So here goes..
Rs. 1900 for 225g
Lush’s take on it:
LUXURIOUS ROSE-SCENTED SHOWER LOTION FOR THE SOFTEST SKIN THAT EVER WAS..
LUSH product inventor Rowena made this decadent, rose-scented shower ‘lotion’ – so it’s Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner which very conveniently sounds like Rose Argan Body Conditioner. She noticed how much she liked the sultry soft feeling conditioner gives her hair, so she thought how nice it would be if she could have the same feeling for the body too. With scoops of cocoa butter, cupuacu butter, almond oil and Argan oils, this is the most luxurious body softener that ever was (if we don’t say so ourselves!)
How to use:
After washing up, slather yourself all over with this new invention. Rinse, pat dry and revel in supremely soft, rose-scented skin.
Fresh Spring Water (Aqua) , Glycerine , Almond Oil (Prunus dulcis), Cypress Leaf Infusion (Cupressus sempervirens) , Brazil Nut Oil (Bertholletia Excelsa) , Vanilla Pod (Vanilla planifolia) , Fair Trade Shea Butter (Butyrospermum parkii) , Stearic Acid , Argan Oil (Argania spinosa) , Cupuacu Butter (Theobroma Grandiflorum) ,Fragrance , Triethanolamine , Cocoa Butter (Theobroma cacao) ,Goji Berry Decoction (Lycium barbarum) , Rose Absolute (Rosa damascena) , Geranium Oil (Pelargonium graveolens) , Lemon Oil (Citrus limonum) , *Limonene , Cetearyl Alcohol , Citronellol ,Coumarin , Geraniol , Methylparaben , Propylparaben
My experience with Lush Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner:
Ok, so I am the most laziest person on the planet and I hate to apply lotion after my bath. I hate the layer that the lotion forms on my skin the fact that it takes ages to absorb as I have oily to normal skin. One of the main reasons I bought this body conditioner is that I have to wash it of in the shower and the fact that is smells so beautifully and sinfully of rose and sweet almond. Plus it completely eliminates the need of an after bath lotion.
So you just have to apply a light layer all over your body and rub it in….wait for a few minutes and just stand under a hot spray so that the excess washes away. I usually don’t rub hard to towel off but just dab and then walk around in my towel while I apply my toner and moisturizer by which time the conditioner soaks completely into my skin and I am left with softest yummiest smelling skin ever! The scent lasts all day long and I have all my colleagues sniffing me and asking me about my new perfume!!
Pros of Lush Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner:
• Smells divine!!!!!!
• No need for lotion.
• Moisturises all day long (normal to oily skin).
• Contains argan oil which is rich in vit e and said to have anti ageing properties.
• Made my skin really really soft and evened the skin tone out a bit.
• You need to use very little product at a time as it spreads really well. I have used it for about 2 weeks and the pot is still full so I guess it will last for a few months atleast.
• Perfect for bedtime. I have used it for the day as well as night and I personally love the papering feeling I get when I use this before I sleep. Not to mention that I feel like a fairy tale princess….lol.
Cons of Lush Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner:
• Very very expensive!!!!!
• The smell may not be to everyone’s liking.
• The tub container is not very hygienic.
I would definitely recommend everyone who likes rose scented products and has the extra cash to spend to try it out as I loved it. I will be repurchasing this as I find it the perfect way to pamper myself especially after a rough body scrub. Ummm so I guess I would rate it 4.5/5 and the only reason I cut the .5 was because it is so expensive.
I had a lot of fun writing this review and hope like you like reading it!
Looking forward to the comments!!
