How To Make Lush’s Cosmetic Warrior Face Mask – DIY

A few days ago, I wrote about “How To Make Lush Cupcake At Home.”  I was wondering why not give a shot at making Lush’s Cosmetic Warrior. In fact, I realized that this mask is much easier to make compared to Lush’s Cupcake because all the ingredients used are more easily available. I hope you all enjoy this one too. So, let’s get started.

Lush Cosmetic Warrior Mask

Original ingredients Used in Lush Cosmetic Warrior Face Mask:

How To Make Lush’s Cosmetic Warrior Face Mask DIY

Kaolin, Fresh Green Grapes (Vitis vinifera), Fresh Free Range Eggs, Honey, Cornflour (Zea mays), Glycerin, Fresh Garlic (Allium sativum), Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca alternifolia), Perfume.

Things you will need to make your own recipe:

I have mentioned the quantity of ingredients to prepare a batch which can suffice for 4-5 applications:

  • Grapes (Quantity-10-12).

Benefits to the skin:

Wrinkle reducer, lightens scars, moisturizes and cleanses the skin thoroughly, corrects uneven skin tone, help to speed your metabolism and induce perspiration, which in turn makes your skin look and feel great.

  • Multani Mitti or Fuller’s Earth (Quantity 3 teaspoons). Since Kaolin clay is not easily available, we can use Fuller’s earth because it has similar benefits as Kaolin clay.

Benefits to the skin:

Natural skin cleanser.  It acts as an antiseptic and thus helps in cleaning the skin.  The application of mud increases the blood circulation in the skin.   It helps in lightening the dark tone of the skin.  It helps acne-prone skin to recover fast and gives relief from acne and oily skin.

  • Garlic (Quantity-2 cloves):

Benefits to the skin:

Antiseptic properties which help combat acne.

  • Eggs (Quantity-1 whole egg).

Benefits to the skin:

Tighten and tone the skin, cure blemishes and they give a glowing skin.

  • Glycerin (Quantity-1 teaspoon).

Benefits to the skin:

Glycerin helps in restoring the water levels in your skin and prevents dryness of your skin.

  • Cornflour (Quantity-2 teaspoon).

Benefits to the skin:

Soothes skin rashes and irritations and also makes a good base for the mask.

  • Honey (Quantity-1 teaspoon).

Benefits to the skin:

Honey has anti-bacterial properties and gives a natural glow to the skin.

I have included all major ingredients which are easily available. You can adjust the quantity of ingredients as per your requirement. Now, that we know what all we need, let’s make our own Cosmetic Warrior Mask.

Steps for making Cosmetic Warrior Mask at Home:

    • Blend grapes and garlic with the help of hand blender in a mixing bowl.

  • You can add a few drops of tea tree oil if you have it. I prefer to skip it as the other ingredients are all stocked up in my kitchen.

Just 3 simple steps and you are done. You have your own Cosmetic Warrior Mask, isn’t it super easy?? You have your own version of Cosmetic Warrior mask.  You can create a fresh batch each time you want to use it or you can prepare it and store for a week or two. I always prefer to create a fresh batch each time I use it.

This mask will have a brown color unlike the pale yellow/white colored original Lush Cosmetic Warrior because we are using Fuller’s earth (brown colored) instead of Kaolin (white colored).

How To Use:

Apply this mask on your face by using a brush or simply splurge it on with your fingers (You might want to keep some perfume handy to spray on your palm and smell it while the mask is drying as it has a pungent odor).  Leave it on for 15 minutes and rinse off with warm water. Pat dry and say hello to beautiful and rejuvenated skin!

My Take on How To Make Lush’s Cosmetic Warrior Face Mask – DIY:

This mask works wonders for the skin. It softens, relaxes and detoxifies skin. Grapes cleanse, garlic fights with acne, honey gives a natural glow, eggs tighten the pores, and Fuller’s Earth helps in more than one way to make your skin beautiful. What more do you want when all you need is a few ingredients from your closet and your kitchen? The smell is a bit pungent due to garlic and eggs, but your patience will surely pay off once you see the results. I have tried this mask and it works great on my combination skin. It makes my dull skin look radiant!! IMBB beauties, do try it out and share your experiences. Cheers!
