My Experience with MAC Dame Blush :
MAC describes Dame as sophisticated blue pink. It is a satin finish powder blush.
Price : Rs 1100 for refill
Shade : a blue toned pale pink
Texture : very smooth. Not chalky at all.Goes on matte.
Pigmentation: Medium. Can be built up to a bright pink shade.
Staying Power : 6-7 hours
Works best with : almost shades of pink. A very sophisticated shade for office and everyday wear since it is matte and looks natural on skin.
Pick it up : if you are looking for an everyday pink that would look natural. Or if you are just starting up with using your blushes, Dame is very forgiving and gives you enough room to play with it.
Skin tones : medium to light
Do I like it ? Like it but I don’t end up using it much since I always have other options of pink blushes that I like more than I like this one.
Rating : 4/5
Overall, it is a very cool toned blush and it is pretty capable of clashing with a warm Indian skin tones. I personally like cool toned colors on my skin. I feel they add freshness to my skin. But if you ask me, Dame is the kind of shade that can easily be skipped. There are a lot of prettier pinks to choose from MAC Blush Collection. 🙂
