As promised, here is the other shade from the MAC Mineralize Rich range gifted lovingly by the team in the shade “Good Taste.” Without much blabbering, let us quickly go through the shade and little bit of important information on the shade Good Taste.

My Experience with MAC Good Taste Mineralize Rich Lipstick:

A lot has been already said about the packaging of this range being slightly different from the permanent line of MAC, yet functional and sophisticated. The magnetic click shut comes as a bonus to clumsy people like me.

The texture is super creamy with the goodness of minerals. You do not need any lip balm beneath or on top of the lipstick as it is creamy and smooth enough to take care of even the most dry lips. The texture being so smooth, you have to layer this on for two three swipes to get the true pigmentation. The fragrance is again typically MAC – vanilla which I love.

It sits on the lips comfortably giving a pretty good wear time. It does not slip or move from the lips in spite of being so creamy and gel-like in texture. With lip liner beneath, it stayed on for more than 5 hours on me. On wearing without a lip liner, the staying power will be reduced to 3 hours maximum. The texture makes the lipstick transfer , but thankfully, it does not completely disappear from the lips.

On the contrary, this shade, unlike Glamour Era from the same range, does leave a stain on the lips. Though it is not a cheap stubborn stain, yet a makeup remover is required to get rid of that.

The shade is a pretty happy summer pink. I agree that the shade is dupable but the brightness imparted is so very summer appropriate. There are no peach or red undertones to it which makes this wearable with a lot of eye makeup combinations. My favorite combo is a bright blue on the upper lash line with bare lower lash line and loads of pink blush to go with this pretty pink.

Other than the whopping price tag, there is nothing I can complain about. This pink can be “THE” shade for the glossy pink lipstick lovers. Though I am more into matte these days, but for special days, we need that oomph of glossy lips!
