MAC Lipglass Chai, Revealing Review, Photos, Swatches

Today I am reviewing two lipglasses that are sort of similar but different as well. You know those dirty pretty kinds lip colors. Chai and Revealing fall in that category. Although I feel whoever named this lipglass ‘Chai’ has had a very bad looking chai in his/her life. 😛 Anyway, hope you like the review. 🙂
I would like to mention that both the lipglasses are discontinued at the moment but I have found them at various MAC stores. Plus MAC keeps bringing back its disc. products so I thought I’d still review these two in case you could get your hands on them. 🙂
MAC Lipglass Chai :
- Price : Rs 1190
- Finish : glossy
- Color : a dirty brown medium taupe with silver micro shimmers. The shimmers don’t show on lips. It could be a perfect n*de for a lot of dusky skin tones.
- Texture : smooth , glossy, sticky.
- Longevity : around 2 + hours when worn on its own.
- Pigmentation : semi opaque
- Goes Best With : smokey or dark eye makeup / peachy blushes.
- Skin Tones : dusky, medium
- Fragrance : Vanilla
- Rating : 4/5
Chai is not the shade for everyone. Also, when I saw it in the tube it didn’t look to impressive. But I liked how it looks when applied. It’s a great shade for girls with dusky skin tones. It may make a perfect n*de that does not washes out color from your face and still gives that defined look to the lips. 🙂
PS : Chai Lipglass has been discontinued but you can still find the color at some MAC stores. If you are not able to find it, someone from MAC suggested that you try MAC Boy Bait Cremesheen Glass with Oak Lip Pencil for a similar dreamy nude.

- Goes Best With : peachy / coral blushes, dark eye makeup
- Skin Tones : dusky, medium
- Fragrance : Vanilla
- Rating : 4/5
I personally like Revealing more than Chai. Only because I feel it looks better on my skin tone. But other than that dusky skin girls should really try out both the shades. These two might become your favourite neutral lip glosses.
