MAC Love Nectar lustreGlass : It’s a gorgeous peachy pink lip gloss with golden shimmer to it. the shimmer is so fine and blended in the gloss. The lip gloss is sheer and would mostly look clear with a soft golden sheen when applied on lips. For someone like me ,i could have a serious love affair with such a gloss. πŸ˜›

MAC Bronzing Powder :Β  Refined Golden

A lightly frosted, tinted powder that gives skin sheer, natural colour effects and highlights. Ideal for enhancing a skin tone or to accent or strengthen a tan. Skin-conditioning – and formulated to provide a smooth, even application on all skin types.

This could be a great bronzer or contouring powder for people with lighter skin tones. Although I feel it would just act as a regular blush for people with darker skin tone. It has very fine golden sparkles to it and if you rememeber MAC to the beach collection, this product was part of it. Ummm…me not impressed.

MAC Coppertone Blush : I was almost drooling over this blush. πŸ˜› It’s a matte peachy brown blush with a soft coral undertone. Most Indian women would rock this shade.. Drool! Drool! πŸ˜›

It’s a part of their permanent collectiona and I am going to pick this up soon. πŸ˜‰

I personally think that this box is especially great for Indian tones tones. All earthy colours and the kinds that would add warmth and glow to any complexion. πŸ™‚

One more MAC look in the box coming up. So stay tuned. πŸ™‚

Do you like the idea of MAC Look in the box?

  1. i just liked the mineralize Eye Shadow .. gr8 color. :-)) .. rest all OK kinds.. the bronzer is too dark n the reviews about the mascara is nt gr8.. so πŸ˜•

  2. In my whole life ive had 3 MAC products, 1 foundation brush, 1 lipstick and this bronzer….if i must say they are there still mostly as new as i do not wear them much, and i stopped applying foundation with a brush anyways…

Of course they are a great brand for makeup with a good quality and new collections very often, but just like Apple for the technology afficionados, MAC has become sort a cult for some people which amazes me… 😐 😐 😐 :-((

    i am seriously trying to understand why MAC is so overrated :-(( :-(( :-(( :-(( :-(( :-(( :-(( :-(( :-(( :-(( :-(( :-((

    i feel like i dont belong πŸ˜› πŸ˜› πŸ˜› πŸ˜› πŸ˜› πŸ˜› πŸ˜› πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

    1. he he I agree, Deb. I think it’s somewhere reasonably priced and delivers quality. So when a woman pays 1000 bucks for a lipsticks she kinda knows that she is going to get quality out of it and her money is not going to go for a waste. I mean would you pay 1000 bucks for a lakme or a revlon lipstick? No because their quality is not constant. That’s what I think. but I agree it’s a very over rated brand and there are better ones around. πŸ™‚

WHat do you use to apply foundation? fingers? πŸ˜›

        1. oh okay. I love using my fingers , infact that’s how I apply most of my makeup. I use my hand santizer like 10 times while doing my makeup. before starting makeup- sanitize. Apply foundation -sanitize
          apply concealer-sanitize
          apply paint pot -sanitize
          cream blush- sanitize

it’s quite insane but I love doing makeup with my fingers than with brushes. I would do my eye makeup with fingers only if I could. πŸ˜›

          1. fingers are the best i would say as well..but i do only when i can indulge on time for my makeup which is not very often πŸ™

I apply concealer with my fingers and my conceal goes under the foundation if its well concealed i just pass the foundation with a sponge through and i am done…

But this is the case with my Clinique foundation as its very runny….

MF illusion comes with a sponge as well, but i am on my 4th pot and never used any of the sponges πŸ˜› πŸ˜›

Sanitizing is fantabulous

    2. Deb personally I like MAC not because of the products but because of the service. The products are good, consistent and quality. However the winning factor is that you can go to the store, try everything out on your face, the MUA’s help, debate and you can annoy them with all sorts of questions so basically it eliminates the chances of nasty surprises. You know when you buy a foundation that it is your exact shade, so I find MAC particularly helpful with things like that. Also you can walk in try out stuff and walk out without buying, so you get to try lots of products before buying the actual thing.

  3. I love the collection !!! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ But I have a very similiar Mac Lip Glass and Ive been using coppertone for years (not exaggerating) and the damn thing is still not over !!!

Definitely looking forward to seeing the pink one

      1. Its a really good blush for day and evening wear and SUPER pigmented. The only thing is when I picked it up I was an NC 42 and now i am an NC 35 and I find it a bit too dark at times. Generally if I am home, I grab my mom’s blush – she is really fair so she tends to keep some great pink/peach shades around, to highlight and use coppertone for contouring.
But Coppertone is definitely one of those – always keep around blushes
You really cannot go wrong with the color πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

Did you pick it up ?

        1. No I will pick it up. I have a similar shade in Colorbar blush so I didn’t pick this one as of now. But really worth buying.

how come you have gone so many shades lighter. That’s a huge jump (down) . πŸ˜›

  4. πŸ™‚ I am so glad to have stuumbled on your blog. I am still a learner as far as makeup is concerned & yours is a great site for a novice lie me. Graet work πŸ™‚

  5. I moved from the Mumbai sun to Australia. Now you’d think its all warm n sunshiney here but its Blooody COLD (although it may not be a lot for someone from Delhi but Im a tropical gurl so Ive been shivering my bum off ). That and I havent experienced a summer in the past 3 years. Summer is Dec in Australia, which is when I head home to Mumbai and its winter in Mumbai and when I fly back, its autumn/winter in Aus and Ive missed the Mumbai summer. πŸ˜• πŸ˜• πŸ˜•
    πŸ˜•

Add to that my crazy vampire like existence during College ( I basically slept through half the day and was awake all night – thanks to afternoon classes).

So now my skin is lighter but Im pretty sure I have some crazy vitamin D deficiency or something πŸ˜› πŸ˜› πŸ˜› πŸ˜›

    1.  that explains a lot. Even my skin tone keeps on changing colors with difference in places and temperature. I have grown fairer after coming to Bangalore and because of the nature of my job, I rarely get to see the sun and spend whole day sitting in a fridge!!! 😯 😯 😯 ..wearing a thick black jacket!! πŸ˜› πŸ˜› ..no matter what time of the season is it!

      1. πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€ Sitting in a cold room with a thick black jacket, sounds so familiar. I don;t understand this need organisations have to turn the air con on so LOW !!! 😯 😯 I apent most of my junior coll days with a sweatshirt on, in MUMBAI !!!

isn’t it a pain though to keep moving shades, its like you wake up one day and realise your foundations are too dark all of a sudden :pain: :pain: :pain: or too light !!! :pain: :pain:

Although I did read once that women should always keep two shades around one for when you have your summer tan and one for winter’s when your skin tends to be paler ?:-) ?:-) ?:-) ?:-)

  6. I lovvvvvved the Coppertone blush!!!! :inlove: :inlove:

I want it.. But have a feeling that it would be lost on my skin tone… ?:-) ?:-)
