Now this is my first paint pot from MAC and I must say I am bowled over! I mean now I know why everyone talks about paint pots being so indispensable! oh how I love makeup and it is top quality makeup like this that makes me go weak in the knees! All the paint pots lined up at the store were sooooo pretty! sigh! But this one, was my pick because I could see all of us, yes all of us could use it, and it makes it a must-have!

I love the glass tubs they come in, very sturdy and heavy but you might no like to carry it around. You don’t need to because this product does not need touch ups! You pack it on, and ready to go. Let me tell you how I like to use it , you might be flooded with your own ideas too, since these are so versatile! I mean we can never have enough of this, but since you get so much product in there, you can use it anyway you want!

The tub is of course bigger than your fluid line. This one is a dirty brown and has no shimmer at all, it goes on completely matte, so it really looks like chocolate, I wanna scoop it out but cannot, well it is an expensive product :haanji: These could dry up very soon and the MA told me keep them open for as less as possible, same goes for fluid lines too. So be quick, pick up what you want and replace the cap, don’t keep on waiting for your look to be over and done with before you close the lid back on this one.

This does not feel gooey soft like some cream blush, it feels tightly packed and not like a souffle but you get hard core stuff there, so you need really little, you can pat it on with a flat brush like I do, fill it up on the lid till the crease, and then use some kohl.

Or you could you use a fluffy brush to swirl the product on the lids, as a base or a simple wash of color too for a soft brown eye. If you have clear skin and lesser dark circles, this would be even better as it will pop your black liner out. as a base too, this will bring almost all of your eye shadows well, and make them stat like forever.

The product sets quickly so I tend it to pat it on, I dont blend it, you have to be fast to place it or blend it. I love it as a natural base and it really looks pretty as a light soft brown eye shadow! I do have dark circles but when I use a concealer under eyes, this shows up really pretty, you might want to try it out before you purchase it.

Now the best thing is since it sets and does not budge at all, it looks like your second skin and is excellent for whole day wear, great for office for a soft brown neutral eye, great for a soft smokey eye base, and great for all your everyday brown shadows, so many things so little time, but the best part is, you can use an angled brush to fill your eyebrows, it is just the right shade, I am amazed by how long it lasts

You can pack it on for a darker look, fill brows, use it as a base, give a wash of brown for eyeshadow, I promise you this will last you as long as you want, the color is just right for most complexions, I am very impressed!

Like the colour but don’t really think ‘ll pick it up anytime soon….already have Groundwork and just picked one up yet (review to follow soon!). Wish they would reduce the product size (along with price of course!! rofl ) so that people could try different colours. As it stands, a pot could last you a lifetime (unless it dries off first)…how many can you have??!!!
