MAC Party Line Cremesheen Lipstick Review

So after taking a long long break from writing, which I have missed BADLY, I am back to write for IMBB. I was so busy for almost 2 months now and have so much to write about. I hope I start writing regularly again. So recently I visited MAC store and bought some of the shades which I was dying to get and also this shade which is not very famous but actually complements Indian skin tone really well. Read on to find more about this product.

My Experience with MAC Party Line Cremesheen Lipstick:

It comes in the classic MAC bullet case which is so to die for! I just love Mac lipsticks they are so worth every penny. It also smells amazing; it has sort if a vanilla-ey scent but it is not very sweet. But I will recommend that sensitive noses take a sniff before investing in these. So this lipstick is from their Cremesheen range. This is my first ever Cremesheen lipstick because I love their Retro- Matte and Matte lipsticks more, but this is an amazing color so I just couldn’t resist. The texture of this lipstick is really creamy and it glides on my lips effortlessly. It does have the tiniest specks of glitter in it, but no one will notice it at all; even I noticed it after using it 3-4 times.

It is what gives the sheen to this lipstick. It does moisturizes my lips pretty well and there is no need to use a lip balm underneath. But a lip liner underneath is a must because it bleed a little. You can make it work even without a lip liner, but I am a messy girls so I need one. 😉 The shade is perfect for this festive and wedding season because it is actually a plum toned red that goes so well with suits and sarees. It really does complement Indian skin tones a lot. It is neither a maroon nor a pink, it is somewhere in between both of them.

The staying power of this lipstick is also really good as it stays put for at least 4-5 hours without any meals, but if you do have a meal in between, then it is going to fade away. But I do not mind re-applying this baby. Also, it transfers to everything so that may be a con for some of you guys. I mean even for me it is a con because this does not happen with matte lippies, but I manage as it is my only Cremesheen lipstick.

Would I Repurchase MAC Party Line Cremesheen Lipstick?
Maybe yes or maybe not because I do not like Cremesheen lipsticks, but this is a wonderful shade. I might make an exception when I go to MAC. I really wanna try all of their lipsticks.

Would I Recommend MAC Party Line Cremesheen Lipstick?
Yes, I do recommend this to others. It is definitely worth a try; brides-to-be, you need something of this kind in your collection.
