I picked up MAC Strobe Cream in Goldlight (Price : INR 2700) a while back. MAC launched its iconic strobe creams in a lot of different colors (Redlite, Silverlite). I have two of them – Peachlite and Goldlite.
Strobe creams are basically illuminating moisturisers that you can use underneath your foundation, on their own, just on high points of face or even mix with a moisturiser. I adore strobe creams from MAC. They are definitely one of my favourite products from MAC.
“Goldlite” is definitely one of my most favourite among all the strobe creams. It leaves a light golden gleam on the skin, that is perfect for my olive skin tone. The shimmer particles are microfine that only work as illuminators for the skin than making you look like a disco ball.
The texture is light, non greasy and gets absorbed into the skin within seconds. It does not get shiny throughout the day. Even people with oily skin can use it on high points of their face. It has never broken me out or caused any problems on my skin. It almost looks like nothing on the skin but just gives that little “lift” to the skin. There is a very faint very “MAC Fix +” kind of a fragrance to it, totally not bothersome.
I also love the gorgeous white sleek tube packaging. It’s easy to carry around and easy to use.
Overall, this is an absolute must-have product in anyone’s kit. If you like a bit of understated glow without really making it look obvious, this is your product. Highly recommend it.
