MAC to the Beach Makeup Look


TO THE BEACH , TO THE BEACH, TO THE BEACH …hubby is all going MAD, friends are making FUN and yes actually FUN but I know it didn’t even reduce my .500 grams of weight . No matter what , no matter how, I would rock it on TO THE BEACH

I know I had to buy and I had to wear … you know I am not in a shape to hit TO THE BEACH inspite living in MUMBAI …
hmmm it’ s okay.  I hit to MAC store. I bought myself some goodies from the new collection, of course darling the money was hubby’s pasine ki kamai …

You don’t know what a relief I got after spending and returning home with a small plastic bag hubby asked” is this what you got with that amount ?” I said, “darling mehngai ka zamana hai. ” … He kept quite becasue  he knew the argument would leave to another shopping spree, so he better shows that he is happy.

So after spending the weekend with the stuff, I finally thought of doing the injustice to MARINE LIFE HIGHLIGHT POWDER. I took tissue paper and tichkaoooooo all the over spray gone. Now I am happily ready to use it …

So here comes my look with TO THE BEACH collection pleaseeeee ignore any mistakes darlings …

Face –

Washed my face with himalaya’s neem face wash. After 5 minutes I used MAC Strobe cream on face . Then applied MAC lustre drops in sun rush just under the eyes .I don’t know the funda, I just applied to pamper myself.

Eyes-

MAC To the Beach Makeup Look

  • Applied painterely paint pot by MAC all over the lid
  • Applied HUMID eyeshadow on 3/4th of lid
  • applied EMBARK eyeshadow on 1/4 of lid and in crease
  • In the inner corner I applied SWEET AND PUNCHY eyeshadow for that extra shine (the transition from light to medium to dark is really nice IMO)
  • Highlighted browbone with RICEPAPER eyeshadow
  • Applied blacktrack fluidline by MAC ( I extended the line   but after clicking the pictures I removed it. I know the lining was not perfect)
  • On waterline I used Urban Decay’s eyeliner in zero
  • Applied EMBARK eyeshadow  with 219 on lower lash line
  • On inner tear duct i used sweet and punchy eyeshadow
  • Finished the look with MAC  ZOOMLASH mascara .

Cheeks
I  used MARINE LIFE HIGHLIGHT POWDER .Tthe coral side with conturing part and baby pink to tone down the coral color .

LIPS
I didnt have any shade from MAC TO THE BEACH. The possible dupe I could find was “O” lipstick by MAC , it is very close to “THRILLS”.

  8. Humid is a gorgeous gorgeous eyeshadow. I loved how the look has turned out to be.It’s wearable, classy and clean.

    Although I don’t highlight my browbone area but rice paper is so pretty that I’d pick it up for my cheeks only. 😛

    1. geeeee… btw Hipness is perfect mix of the coral + pink from the marine highlight and that’s the reason i wanted it so much. 😛

  11. Rashmi, you can really rock MAC products. You do your make up so well, and you look stunning. Liked the O lipstick (I have Thrills), now I am eyeing that Marine Life highlighting powder….but is it OK for oily skin? I guess I already know the answer to that..but I’m such a sucker for anything shimmery & frosty!! Also, loved the Humid eyeshadow and the Rice Paper you used for highlighting the brow bone. Congratulations!
