Continuing with my MAC reviews, here is a gorgeous shade from the Mineralize Rich range in the shade “Utterly Delicious.” Read on to know more about the very pretty wearable shade here:
Rs. 2100/- for 3.6 gm.
A 77-Mineral Moist Complex that instantly nourishes lips with maximum moisture in a lightweight, non-sticky formula. Larger bullet applies bright, long-lasting color in a single stroke. Medium shine finish, buildable coverage. Magnetic closure.
My Experience with MAC Utterly Delicious Mineralize Rich Lipstick:
Packaging: The “Mineralize” range is packed differently than regular MAC lipsticks. It is like a chubbier brother of a MAC lipstick with a matte cap and glossy base. The magnetic closure is something that is smart and intelligent considering it is a bit bulky. The outer paper carton has all the required information regarding dates, price and ingredients. I have not seen color coded packaging in Mac, so not bringing in that factor.
Texture: The texture is super creamy, so much so that it tends to melt. There is a glossy feel to the lips on application. The shine can be compared to the sheen supreme range, but the feel on lips is lighter. It kind of melts on touching the lips. I would better call this a gel lipstick. It is moisturizing enough to skip lip balm even with dry lips.
Pigmentation: I would rate this shade 4/5 in this aspect. The color can be built up, but very pigmented lips would be advised to either use a lip erase or a nude lip liner to cover pigmentation, but this is a great option for the summers and monsoon as this is a very happy bright color.
Shade: This is a very wearable shade of orange with subtle golden shimmers which are not evident or visible, to give a cheap look to the color. The shimmers are only adding up to the glam effect of the otherwise simple orange lip color with yellowish undertones. Good news for people with yellow under-toned skin like me, you can totally pick this shade if you are still deciding on the perfect wearable orange. Full marks to the shade for being so wearable on a wide range of skin tones.
Staying Power: Not too impressive as it is creamy. On its own, it stays for about 4 hours. With tea/snacks, it would come down to 3 hours. With lip liner, the shade stayed for more than 6 hours which is great as the texture is light and creamy. If you are looking for a long-lasting lipstick, then it is not for you, but the texture is so awesome that you will definitely not mind reapplying it.
Pros of MAC Utterly Delicious Mineralize Rich Lipstick:

- Nice packaging.
- Back 2 Mac policy.
- Glossy finish.
- Non drying.
Cons of MAC Utterly Delicious Mineralize Rich Lipstick:
- Low staying power.
Would I Recommend MAC Utterly Delicious Mineralize Rich Lipstick?
I might not be able to finish this up, but if I do, I will definitely pick this up as it is a beautiful shade of orange. I would definitely recommend this to orange to all of you.
