MAC Venomous Villains : Briar Rose Beauty Powder Review
MAC Briar Rose Beauty Powder is a part of Maleficent’s Collection. Maleficent is the villain from Disney’s Sleeping Beauty.
It is packed in black glossy compact with the imagery of Maleficent printed in it. The size of beauty powder is bigger than the regular blush. MAC blushes are 6m of product while the beauty powder is 12 gm.
MAC Beauty Powders are sheer blushes and can be used all over the face. It comes with a compact mirror
Briar rose is a cool tone dpink beauty powder with lavender undertones. It has a satiny finish to it. It is the blush for those days when your face looks dull and you want the dewy glow on your cheeks. That’s exactly the kind of finish it gives . The texture is hands down better than the regular powder blush. Also the satiny finish is such that no matter what, it would never accentuate your pores. It would give that satiny veil to your cheeks.
The shade is especially pretty for girls with medium to dusky skin tones. Briar rose beauty powder has sheer to buildable coverage and I don’t think you can use it all over the face. That would be too much .I use it as a blush only. You can apply a wash of briar rose along the bridge of your nose to get that wintery glow.
It stays on all day on me. However it gets even sheerer after a few hours but I don’t mind that.
It is one of the most natural looking blush I have in my collection. It gives that innocent rosy glow on your cheeks.
Shade wise I wouldn’t call Briar Rose a must have but You must give MAC beauty powder a try.

you cannot apply it all over the face. I mean I haven’t even tried doing that because I am not very fair or don’t turn very pink as it is. But cali the texture is soo gorgeous. It’s like as if you are touching something silky.

yeahhhhhhhhhh.. 😀 😀 😀 he liked me in that brown/maroon kind of eyeshadow I bought from inglot!! ..I did a simple makeup once – just applied a nude skin colored eyeshadow all over the lid, and that inglot maroon shadow around the outer v of eyes.. Followed by applying highlighter on the brows. Then I applied thin black eyeliner over the lids, and Kajal only at the 1/3d of the waterline (outer area). It was quite soft makeup and he somehow liked it and gave me compliments too! :cute: :shy: :shy: :shy: :shy: :shy:

oh you can use your lipstick as a blush. 😀 :d just apply an oil free moisturiser on your face, apply some lipstick as a blush and set your makeup with sheer powder. :))
