My Experience with MAC Versicolour Stain Last Minute:

The packaging is what caught my eye – it has this beautiful heavy feeling bottle with the color visible in the middle band. The bottle is very sturdy and feels nice with MAC’s signature shimmery black trims. The applicator is really nice and picks the right amount of product for my preference. Also, it is easy to carry around.

“Last Minute” is a really nice, bright fuchsia pink. It will easily suit almost all skin tones. It does not have any shimmers. The formula is something that won my heart completely. I am not at all a gloss person; I actually hate glosses, but I fell in love with this! As the brand claims, it is an amalgamation of gloss and stain which actually seems to work beautifully. It feels amazing on the lips too. Glosses tend to feel heavy and sticky but this formula is super comfortable and feels like a balm. The pigmentation of this particular shade is very good. It gives me good coverage in just a swipe.

Staying power is also impressive. It claims of an 8-hour stay which is a little overboard, but I see that the shine stays on for a good 4 hours even with sipping water and coffee breaks in between. If you have lunch, then the glossy effect is gone. It does transfer, but the color will be there on the lips as it is a stain. Overall, it stays for 6.5 hours on an average I think. This particular shade leaves behind a bright stain which is a task to remove. Also, it can be a bit drying if you have dry lips at the end of the day. Overall, I totally love wearing this on a daily basis.
