Hello lovely ladies,
I am sure everyone is planning something for their long weekend for Christmas. Honestly, I am in the mood to just relax. So finally, we are going to a resort this weekend and I just want to relax as much as I can and stay away from every stress possible. I was thinking of buying bath salts but then, as usual, I changed my mind and made a batch at home. I remember how dipping my legs in beach water has made my skin clean and soft. It removed cracks and roughness as well. This DIY bath salts delivered the same results. So, let us start our holiday mode with this DIY beauty recipe.
You Need:
⦁ Sea salts
⦁ Fennel seeds
⦁ Olive oil
⦁ Coconut oil or vitamin E oil
⦁ An empty bowl
⦁ An empty jar to store
⦁ Food coloring – of your choice
⦁ Vanilla pods or essence
Procedure:
Step one:
Take an empty bowl and add about three-fourth to one-fourth of sea salts in it.
Step two:
Then, add a teaspoon of fennel seeds or maybe more. The quantity basically depends on how strong you’d like the fragrance.
Step three:
Add some coconut oil. I have used coconut oil with aloe vera gel as it’s light and non-sticky.
Step four:
Add some olive oil.
Step five:
Add in a few drops of vanilla essence or some vanilla pods.
Step six:
Then, add a few drops of food coloring. I have used a green color but you can add any color you have.
Usage and Results:
Mix all of the ingredients well and store the mixture in an airtight container or any travel bottle. I tell you it smells divine. I soaked my feet for about 15 minutes and felt so relaxed. This is super economical and super fun to make. I am excited about using this during my holidays. It conditions the skin well and softens it too. You can just soak your feet or add these salts to your tub for a more relaxing time.
