Make Up For Ever Sculpting Blush Review

Make Up For Ever Sculpting Blush Review

Hey Everyone,

Make Up For Ever is a cult brand, with some really awesome products in its arsenal. They are totally at par with MAC, and today, I will  be reviewing one of their “Sadly-Not-So-Famous-Heroes.” I checked pretty well online for some reviews of their Sculpting Blush, but sadly not too many people seem to have used it. Hope that changes because this is my HG blush!  And so I blab.

Product Description:

According to MUFE: “Sculpting Blush sculpts and gives a multi-dimensional look to the face. Its unique formula, enriched in luminous coated pigments enhances cheekbones and guarantees an impeccable hold. Thanks to silicone oil and nylon powders, the smooth and silky texture can be shaded off, fading to infinity on the cheeks.”

My Experience with Make Up For Ever Sculpting Blush:

MUFE describes this colour as a satin peach pink. It turns up more peach than pink on me and has a beautiful natural color, and lasts all day. This is a beautiful peach that almost anyone can carry off, I range from NC 25-30, depending on how tanned I am, 😛 and this shade looks good on me always! My roommate who is NC 45, also looks beautifully flushed when wearing this shade.

It comes in a black plastic and metal case, and can be de-potted for making your own palette. The lid of the case has a clear strip through which you can see the shade. Classy and functional packaging, and travel safe!

Sculpting Blush 6

This is a good dupe for NARS Orgasm; however, this is more peachy and Orgasm is more pink, and this one is less shimmery. It has a satin texture, and gives the slightest hint of shimmer, nothing that you can notice even on looking closely, but it makes my skin glow.  It lasts almost all day on my cheek, applied using The Body Shop Blush Brush. I think it would work for most skin tones, and dusky beauties will appreciate how pigmented and buildable this shade is.

Pros of Make Up For Ever Sculpting Blush:

  • Light.
  • Satiny, velvety, smooth texture.
  • Flake-free application.
  • Very buildable, can also be applied sheer.
  • Beautiful pink-peach color, very natural.
  • Well pigmented.
  • Does not accentuate pores.
  • Lasts all day.

Cons of Make Up For Ever Sculpting Blush:

  • Expensive.
  • Availability, I got it online, but couldn’t find it anywhere else.
