Make Up Revolution products have been the most reviewed products for a couple of days on IMBB. All thanks to the online sale , which made these products quite affordable and easily available in India.
Here, I am again with the review of another product from their range which is a Baked Blusher. The fact that it is baked fascinated towards this range and I wanted to give it a try as I had never owned a baked beauty product (seems so delicious). These blushes are available in 6 shades. All have a very interesting and different names; one more reason to try them on! Today, I am reviewing the shade – Make Love Instead. The image of the blush has a mark on the lid. It is due to the sticker which was there. I tried to remove it but still some glue is still left on it. Kindly accept apologies for the same.
This merged blusher is highly pigmented for a natural soft effect. The colour is easily buildable with a hint of shimmer to enhance the cheekbones. Apply to the cheekbones or apples of cheeks.
Product Quantity: 6 Gms and shelf life is 3 years.
Rs.750; I got it for Rs.354 in GOSF but now it’s available at Rs.525 online.
It has a very basic packaging but looks cute and compact though! It comes in a black-base palette with a sturdy transparent lid. Name of the brand and shade is printed in gold on the transparent lid. Ingredients and the quantity is mentioned at the back of the blush. The packaging is travel-friendly.
My take on Make Up Revolution London Make Love Instead Baked Blusher:
Color: This Baked Range comes in 6 shades with very different names. Today, I have the shade “Make Love Instead”. It is a peach-ish pink shade with some shimmer in it. The color appears same as the swatch when applied to the cheeks. It can also be used under the brow line as a highlighter!
The blush is decently pigmented and provides a natural look to the cheeks. It contains some shimmery particles which provides a beautiful sheen when applied. For a natural look during day time, it can be applied with very light hands. However, it also works very well as a highlighter due to the presence of shimmer in it and gives an amazing party look if multiple strokes are used.
Texture: This is a powdered blush and the texture is very smooth .It blends easily on the skin. Being in the powder form, there is some fall out during application, which needs to be cleaned after application.
Staying Power: After so long, I have found a product with a good staying power. I am really impressed with this one. It stays on for long hours without any touch ups. It starts to fade away after 5-6 hours but still it is there until you remove it at the end of the day giving a very natural look!
