Make Your Own Beer Shampoo: Do-it-Yourself

Hello Everyone!!
How are you IMBBians? How was your weekend? This is my 20th post on IMBB. My first article was published on 30th April,2014. I have completed 1 Year and 1 Month. Writing for IMBB has become an essential part of my life. When I wrote my first article,  I had no clue what I would write next. And now the score has reached up to 20. I still have so many ideas in my mind, I want to share so many things with you all, but blame it on my extreme laziness and busy schedule. But now I’ll try to write at least 5 articles per month.

Benefits of the Ingredients used:
1. Beer: Beer helps in making our hair shinier and glossy. It helps in detangling  hair and makes them strong and healthy. It also provides strength to the roots and resolves the issue of hair fall.
2. Shampoo: When added to beer, it works double duty to remove grease from hair and add bounce.

Points to Remember:
1. The ratio of beer and shampoo should be 2:1.
2. It is not necessary to use fresh beer, you can use flat beer as well.

Results:
I have heard a lot about beer shampoo. I read that beer is very beneficial for our hair. When I did try Park Avenue’s Beer Shampoo,  it disappointed me. My hair turned dry and rough. Then I thought why not try making it at home. After doing a bit of research, I finally gave it a try. I love how it makes my hair soft and shiny. The results last for 4-5 days, believe you me.

I hope you will like this easy recipe and will try it at home. You don’t need too much of time, many ingredients and patience for this. Do give it a try and pamper your hair. Don’t forget to share your views and opinions with me.

  1. I have used beer a couple of times and it really makes my hair shine but I can’t bear its smell. My younger sister loves beer shampoo though, will make this for her. 😀

And cheers (with real beer not shampoo) for completing one year! 😛

  2. I have tried Beer once but it didnt give any shine to my hair rather it made my hair frizzy or dull.
Ideally which brand of beer we should try?
Will try to make this recipe. thanks

  3. Try using vodka instead of beer (1:5) I am using it from last 6 months and my hair never ever felt like this. Now i am even getting compliments for me silky and bouncy hair which were oily and limp earlier… yahooooooo 🙂
