Continuing with my reviews on Makeup Geek eyeshadows, this review will be on the shade “Dirty Martini.”

My Experience with Makeup Geek Dirty Martini Eyeshadow:
Packaging: This eyeshadow comes in a pan which you have to pop in a magnetic palette. I do like the flexibility this provides for customizing a palette based on your needs but this also means you have to shell out extra to buy the Z palette on top of buying the eyeshadow.
Shade and Finish: “Dirty Martini” is described as a matte olive green. True to its name, it’s a beautiful warm-toned olive-khakhi green. I personally love green eyeshadows as I feel it brings out the brown of my eyes and this shade is no exception. I love the complete matte finish which makes it versatile to use as a crease color or packed all over the lid for a twist on the traditional all black smokey eye.
Pigmentation: Pigmentation of this shade is very good. It yields complete opaque color in two layers packed on, but you can easily diffuse it if you use a lighter hand for a more softer approach.
Texture and Blendability: The texture of this eyeshadow is smooth and easy to work with, it merges into other shadows easily without loose its intensity or getting muddy. You can see in the EOTD how I have paired it with a purple shadow and still the transition between them looks smooth.
Staying Power: Staying power is amazing. I do not see any fading or creasing for over 8 hours with an eye primer under.
Overall, I am thoroughly enjoying using these Makeup Geek eyeshadows. They definitely have that high end feel in terms of its ease of use and smooth texture. And I feel you just cannot beat this high quality for this price. I highly recommend this eyeshadow.
In the EOTD 1: Used “Dirty Martini” in the crease paired with the purple shadow in “Sensuous” also by Makeup Geek.
In EOTD 2: In this EOTD, I have used “Typhoon” all over the lid blended out the crease with “Dirty Martini.”
