Makeup Geek Full Spectrum Eye Liner Pencil – Nude Review

Hey all,
I always wanted to have the perfect nude liner but since I have sensitive eyes, most of them fail for me. Once my eyes start watering post applying, I know it will never work for me. I had a bad experience with the ELF gel pencil liners but Makeup Geek recently came out with these pencils and I had to give them a try since they are formulated without parabens and talc. Read on to find out my views on this product.

My Experience with Makeup Geek Full Spectrum Eye Liner Pencil – Nude:

Packaging: The packaging is quite simple. The pencil is of nude colour and has a silver cap. It is plain and cute.

Texture and pigmentation: The texture is creamy but not too smooth. The good thing is that it is not too creamy; otherwise it may break quickly. I like this texture as it did not irritate my eyes. It is quite pigmented and shows up well.

Other thoughts: First and foremost, Makeup Geek eyeshadows are a rage but I am not a big fan of them. I love this white-ish nude shade because it actually brightens up my eyes and goes on smooth. It is not too hard core in the eyes and gives a subtle nude hint to the waterline which looks amazing with any eye makeup look. I am so happy that this did not irritate my sensitive eyes at all.

It is waterproof too and you will need a good makeup remover for this as it can be difficult to take off. It is extremely longwearing! I mean I rubbed my eyes a ton of times throughout the day but it did not come off at all. It stayed put for 6 hours and after that it was fading off a little. This is not a retractable liner, you do have to sharpen it and there is no sharpener provided along with this. It is not too smooth so I don’t think I need to sharpen it for a while but I hate that product will get wasted while doing that. Overall, I am pretty happy with the purchase.

Will I Repurchase Makeup Geek Full Spectrum Eye Liner Pencil – Nude?
I will not repurchase because I want to try cheaper alternatives. I cut few marks for the price! It is quite a good edition in your makeup vanity but I am sure there are drugstore liners which are pretty good too.
