My Experience with Makeup Revolution Girls Best Friend Rose Gold Lipstick:

Let us take a moment to appreciate the beauty of these goodies. The packaging is truly very impressive and luxurious. It reminds me of Chambor Orosa Lip Perfection Lipstick. The rose gold color is trending insanely these days from those gadgets to these makeup beauties. This is such a pretty girly color, that I always prefer it over any other color choice available. And for makeup lovers like us, rose gold packaging + a lipstick = a must have.

The lipstick comes in beautiful rose gold metallic packaging. The lipstick tube has the shade name mentioned at the base. But the tube does not have anything written on it. Once, you will open the lipstick tube, you will see the brand name mentioned on the tube like Chambor Orosa lipsticks. The cap of the lipstick fits securely and makes it travel friendly. The packaging is definitely very beautiful, sturdy and it will fit your small pouch easily.

The shade “Girls Best Friend” is a cool toned girly pink shade, which looks almost neon. I was quite confused on seeing this shade first time, if it will suit my skin tone or not. I normally do not pick such cool toned pinks. But, to my surprise, the shade looked so pretty on my lips that I fell in love with this. It is definitely the pink for those people who prefer bright pinks. It suits me so well & brightens up my face. But, I need a proper base to pull off this shade well. This shade will suit exclusively fairer skin tones. The color is very wearable and a nice summery shade. It can be easily carried to college or at work.

The pigmentation is quite sheer but buildable. It will not hide those pigmented lips even after multiple swipes because it is a light shade. I would not say it is insanely pigmented. It takes multiple swipes to show up the color perfectly. The product is described as a glossy lipstick. It sets to a nice sheen finish but it is not a high-shine product.

Texture wise, it is creamy smooth and buttery. It glides effortlessly on the lips. No tugging or pulling- just happy lips. But, I have broken the bullet from its base due to its creaminess. The formula is totally non-drying. The lipstick has a very moisturizing formula. It will moisturize your very dry lips also. It feels so light & comfortable on the lips. The formula is hydrating and non sticky. It does not cling or highlight the dry patches of the lips, which is a pro for me. The lipstick has a very mild vanilla fragrance, which is very calming & non-bothering. It will not bother even people with sensitive noses. This fragrance fades away in some time.

The longevity is quite good but not amazing. It stays for a good 4-5 hours on my lips without having anything. This lipstick fades evenly without leaving any stain behind. This is again a pro of this range because most of them do stain the lips. The lipstick is very easy to remove just with a wet wipe. Overall, these lipsticks are more impressive compared to other Makeup Revolution lipsticks.
