Hello lovely ladies,

Today, I am reviewing Makeup Revolution Highlighter Palette – Highlight. Read on to get into the details of the product.

Product Description:
Our HIGHLIGHTER palette is here! “Take the Light With You”
Containing our 3 best-selling VIVID Baked Highlighters in 1 palette.
Peach Lights, Pink Lights & Golden Lights in one sophisticated palette with full-size mirror.

My Experience with Makeup Revolution Highlighter Palette – Highlight:

I am obsessed with highlighters these days. This highlighter palette from Makeup Revolution looked quite intriguing as it contains three different shades of highlighters in a single palette. So, I decided to give it a shot. Read further to know more about these lovely highlighters.

Beginning with packaging, the palette comes housed in a strong rose gold cardboard packaging. The product description along with the ingredients list is mentioned at the back of this box. The palette is glossy black in color and bears the brand’s tagline in golden fonts. This is a delicate plastic palette. This is not sturdy enough and it may break easily. The palette comes with a huge mirror attached to the lid. They have not included any applicator along with this palette. Inside this beautiful palette, houses three lovely highlighter shades. The circular textured pattern on the highlighters looks appealing. Overall the packaging has no flaws but it is a little bulky to carry.

There are three shades: gold, peach and lilac highlighters in this palette. The three highlighters in the palette are basically their individual vivid baked highlighters. All three of these are customised in a single palette with a huge mirror and improved quality. Let’s discuss each shade one by one:

1. Golden Lights:

This is a stunning golden highlighter with a metallic finish. This highlighter is loaded with very finely milled golden micro shimmer that delivers a metallic finish. This shade suits my skin tone so well. But, being too shimmery in nature, it is not fit for everyday use. I love Makeup Revolution London Pro Illuminate for daily use. This golden highlighter is a great option for the coming festive season. This is the best-suited shade for most of the Indian skin tones.

2. Peach Lights:

It is peachy bronze highlighter which is loaded with finely milled silver shimmers. This shade goes so well with my skin tone as it is made exclusively for me. The shimmers are very finely milled and impart a nice metallic glow. The shimmers are fine, subtle and non-chunky. It is a lovely highlighter shade that will easily flatter a wide variety of Indian skin tones.

3. Pink Lights:

Here comes the third shade called Pink Lights. It was supposed to be a pink highlighter, similar to the; but basically, it is a lilac highlighter with a high amount of fine silver shimmer particles in it that give it a silvery finish. The shade is not meant for my warm skin tone and looks a kind of ashy on me. Hence, I skip using this one to highlight my cheekbones. I use it sometimes to highlight the inner corners of the eyes as it looks nice that way. Only champagne to pale pink highlighters suit my skin tone. This pink lights highlighter makes my face glow like a disco ball.

Let’s talk about the pigmentation. All three highlighters are amazingly pigmented. One swipe gives the nice lustrous finish. I prefer applying two swipes of these highlighters and I am ready to go. As the pigmentation is quite high, you need to be careful while applying these highlighters because they will look gaudy if you go overboard. This is due to the high amount of shimmers.

The texture of these highlighters is lovely. It is silky smooth and blends with the skin like a dream. You may see in the swatches attached below how silky the powders look. The key to the perfect application is that it has to be blended nicely. It nicely highlights the key features of my face and makes my skin look luminous. It does not make my skin oily nor it highlights those dry patches. It does not emphasise the pores of my skin. The shimmers in the highlighters stay in place and never budge. The formula is not powdery, and these highlighting powders never fall out in the palette.

The lasting power is great. All the three last almost all day long without any significant fading. Isn’t it great as I have combination-oily skin type? Removing the highlighter is pretty easy and hassle-free. All the color and shimmers get removed easily in one go.

Overall, this is a nice and compact highlighter palette. The quality of the highlighters in this palette is far better than their individual vivid baked highlighters. This is a perfect highlighter palette for the upcoming festive season.
