Hey lovely people!
I experimented with another lip color, and this time it is a liquid lip color from Makeup Revolution I Heart Makeup Lip Lava range. As the winter season is almost gone, I am turning towards lighter shades again. So keep reading as this range is considered a dupe for Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick range.

I got this in a shiny pink cardboard box, and I really loved the packaging. The inner lip color tube is just a liquid tube which is not so fascinating. The shade, Forgiven, is mentioned at the back of the cardboard box. The colored tube has a little sponge with a very tiny hole for the lip color to come out. It is difficult to apply this color correctly with this tube, and I have to use a lip brush.
My Experience with Makeup Revolution I Heart Makeup Lip Lava – Forgiven:
Well girls, if you have read my reviews, then you would definitely know that I am very bad at online shopping, and again made the same mistake. When I ordered this, I first wanted to get a budget- friendly liquid lip color. When I saw this shade, the website mentioned the shade as an orange. So I got this one assuming it would be an orange, but it turned out to be a nude shade.
But I am not at all disappointed with this color as I had not used this shade earlier. And, as it is going to be spring season soon, I would love to have a nude makeup look with this lip color. I was not so happy when I applied this on my hand assuming this type of nude colors don’t really complement Indian skin tones. I applied it on my lips and it looked really glam and very attractive with my heavy makeup. The catch here is that I can never use this color with nude makeup or minimal makeup.
I have to use this shade only when I have my eye game on. When I got back home, I removed my eye makeup and then reapplied this shade on my lips and it made me look ill. It made me look completely washed out. I got back home within just 4 hours and the lip color was all gone. No tint and no color was left on my lips even though I had not eaten anything in those 4 hours. Such poor staying power! When I applied this to my lips, it really gave my lips a very sticky feel.
It is highly pigmented and it is exactly a nude shade. I like my lip products to have good staying power and a nice stain, but this product lacks them both. By the way, I forgot to tell you that I have wheatish skin tone. Not dark and not to light, so this color does not look that great on my lips without eye makeup.
Pros of Makeup Revolution I Heart Makeup Lip Lava – Forgiven:
• Easily available
• Good MLBB shade
• Highly pigmented
• Contains Vitamin E
• Stays on for 2-3 hours without any mess
• This range has 5 shades
Cons of Makeup Revolution I Heart Makeup Lip Lava – Forgiven:
• Very little quantity
• Not a great shade for wheatish skin tone
• Poor staying power
• Leaves no tint at all
• Does not hydrate the lips
• Application isn’t easy
• You need a lip brush to apply this properly
3.2 out of 5
It is not really a great product. Just an average one.
Would I Recommend/Repurchase Makeup Revolution I Heart Makeup Lip Lava – Forgiven?
Not this shade, but I might try out other better shades. I would not recommend this shade to girls with medium skin tone, you can try it if you have fair skin though.
