Greetings to all!
Recently, I went for a haul on Makeup Revolution and bought some pretty items randomly. I wanted to buy their eye shadows and some lipsticks, but something caught my sight and I clicked the I Heart Makeup tab. Well, I ♡ Makeup is a sister brand of Makeup Revolution and there I saw a whole new line for palettes, lipsticks, blushes and everything we need. The most attractive thing is their names and the packaging is also very cute. So, I picked some products up from them. Today, I’m going to review Makeup Revolution I ♡ Makeup Rap-ture The WOW Stick.
WOW at our WOW STICKS! Super Intense Cream Matte shades Waterproof Easy to apply 8 shades NOW ! Just say WOW !!
£2.99 for 2.2g
My Experience with Makeup Revolution I ♡ Makeup Rap-ture The WOW Stick:
There are 8 shades in this collection and most of them suit fair, cool toned girls. But, some shades can still flatter Indian Skin tones. There are some beautiful reds and pinks included. It comes with an outer carton box with a caption “High Gloss Lip Color Stick” which is purely not true. The Super Wow Sticks come in a classic crayon packaging with a twist up bottom (no sharpening issue) and secured with a cap. I love the classy black package with pink address on it.
The pencil doesn’t have any detail printed over it, not even the color name. So, once you throw the outer carton, you cannot find the shade (if you have two or more).
Coming to the shade, Rapture falls under the pink family. It’s a super bright neon pink. This cool toned pink shade is definitely not for every skin tone, but fair skinned beauties can definitely rock this shade. This stick is incredibly matte and waterproof lip colour, designed to stay put through almost everything.
The formula of these lipsticks is super pigmented and you can cover any kind of pigmented lips with just one swipe, I swear. I am not a huge fan of complete matte lipsticks because I wear a simple makeup on a daily basis. Also, I have big, fuller lips, so I can’t carry and tackle such matters.
The texture of this stick is really soft and creamy. The lip color feels very creamy when we apply it and then, dry to a matte finish and doesn’t smudge or bleed. Unlike any other matte stick, it doesn’t feel heavy on the lips. It stays pretty long and starts to fade away from the centre area of the lips. I really can’t tackle this, because it flaked off unevenly and I can’t fix it. It emphasizes my fine lines badly and gets a little dry after some time. But, it is very long wearing and is always great for bolder colors. Also, I find it it difficult to remove.
Overall, I think this is a fantastic product, but this shade is complete no-no for me. At £2.99, these lip sticks are totally a steal! I would definitely recommend picking up at least one from this range, and I warn you to be careful about the shade selection.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Makeup Revolution I ♡ Makeup Rap-ture The WOW Stick?
Yes, I surely recommend this Wow Stick. This one is a complete treat for matte lover. But, I won’t repurchase this shade. This neon pink is an adventurous shade, I can’t carry this anyway. There are other shades called Maria, Sunday Girl, Hanging on the Telephone that can flatter any skin tone.
