Here’s a quick review of an eyeshadow from Makeup Revolution. I’ve read some good reviews about these beauties, so I thought I’d give it a go.
295 INR for 3.3g
These mono eyeshadows bring a vivid colour to the eye that is very buildable and lasts all day. The payoff and intensity is truly amazing and so affordable you will want them all!
My Take on Makeup Revolution I Want U Mono Eyeshadow:
These eyeshadows come in a cute black case with a transparent lid. The lid shuts with a click and is sturdy enough, so it is travel-friendly. The transparent lid makes it easy to spot the shades in a stash. The shade name and the ingredients are mentioned on the reverse side.
I Want U is a beautiful coppery-bronze. I was so excited looking at the shade from the case. It is an apt shade for weddings and parties. It gives a shimmery, satin finish. I really like the texture of this; smooth and soft. It glides and spreads well without feeling chalky. The shimmers are also very decent and not at all OTT. Actually I was expecting this to be chunky, but it proved me wrong! I use my Wet n Wild Coloricon Eyeliner in Bronzed as base and apply this over the lid. It indeed is a beautiful color.
On the downside, the pigmentation is really poor. In the swatch I have applied it over 4 times but it is still weak. It is a good neutral shade, but the exact color is not delivered I feel. Also, I noticed a bit of fall out just here and there; but it’s negligible. The lasting power is around 3-4 hours with a base. It could have been better I feel. I just wish the color was more buildable; for the price I’m not complaining though. 😀
Pros of Makeup Revolution I Want U Mono Eyeshadow:

• A lovely, coppery-bronze shade.
• Blends easily.

Cons of Makeup Revolution I Want U Mono Eyeshadow:

• Bit of fallouts.
• Average lasting power.
Would I Recommend/Repurchase Makeup Revolution I Want U Mono Eyeshadow?
The shade is superb for the bronze eyes look but the pigmentation was a big disappointment for me. Apt for the wedding season, worth a try.
