I have reviewed so many shades in the past and this is the last one from the lot; a very nice everyday shade. Read to know more about this one.

My Experience with Makeup Revolution Insatiable #Liphug Lipstick:

I recently got tons of these lip hugs because they had extremely cute names and amazing colour selection too. I think the shades describe the kind of situations you go through in a relationship and which shade exactly matches that situation. Don’t you think this concept is damn cute? I will bifurcate its properties into different categories.

Packaging: The packaging is very simple and decent. The lip hugs come in a little glossy and metallic blood red box. The box has a little sticker over the top with the shade colour and the name written over it which makes it easy to identify, if you have a few of these. The lipstick comes in a very basic black packaging with the shade name and colour. I wish they had made the packaging a bit fancy. These lip hugs are little in size, so can easily fit into the pocket, vanity, makeup bag or even your big handbag.

Shade, Finish and Consistency: The shade “Insatiable” describes the part of a relationship where the girl starts desiring a lot of things from her partner. If you are smart, you will get the rest! 😛 The shade is a very pretty dusty rose shade with some hints of fresh pink and coral that add freshness to the mild dusty rose shade. Initially, it appears very rosy and soft, but it shows up the real colour once it intensifies. The shade is a great everyday color although not neutral. It creates a fresh and a pretty pop on the lips which gives a simple makeup look.

The shade will complement all the skin tones very well. You can wear it during the day or night, daily or occasionally, regardless of age. It glides like a buttery lip balm on the lips and keeps my lips hydrated throughout the day. It does not settle into fine lines, does not bleed nor does it accentuate dry patches. It also gives my lips a good amount of hydration and my lips don’t feel dry throughout the day. The lip hug has a glossy formula which initially looks very dazzling and lowers as time passes by.

Staying Power: The staying power of this lip hug is just a little more than average. It stays for 5-6 hours on my lips with a few snacks. With an entire meal, it stays for 4 hours and the intensity of the shade goes off the moment I eat. It leaves a beautiful stain behind, which looks great. The lipstick turns matte after like 3-4 hours, but does not go away until you completely remove it with a makeup remover.

• It suits all the skin tones and age groups, and it is be suitable for daytime and nighttime as well
• It has a glossy texture which gives hydration like a lip balm and my lips never feel dry with
this
• It does not settle into fine lines, does not bleed and also does not cling to dry areas on the lips
• It has an amazing staying power of 5-6 hours with snacks and drinks
• The lip colour never goes off entirely; it keeps losing it shine and intensity over time but leaves healthy stain
• Not tested on animals

• The packaging is boring
• It might start bleeding if you keep on eating

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Makeup Revolution Insatiable #Liphug Lipstick?
I am not sure because I have bunch of lipsticks and you all know that lipsticks take forever to get finished. Yes, if you cannot carry very bright corals, then you can try this shade as it is beautiful.
