I have been MIA lately and it’s all because my exams were going on and I had various other projects to complete. But, I am back now and today I am going to review Makeup Revolution London Black Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner. I love using eyeliners in every color and every form. They make you look glamorous without looking over-the-top. It is one of the products I got as a part of IMBB sponsored scheme. Let’s move on to the review.

It is of INR 500, but I got it for INR 300.

My Experience with Makeup Revolution London Black Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner:

The eyeliner comes in a black cardboard outer carton. The details of the eyeliner are written in gold which makes the packaging quite attractive. The eyeliner liquid comes in a black colored plastic bottle and the cap of the tube contains a very thin applicator. The plastic of the bottle seems very cheap and the applicator is also of not very fine quality. It hurts when you apply the eyeliner on your eyelids.

The eyeliner is jet black in color. It is one of the darkest blacks I have seen till now. It sets with a glossy finish, but takes a little bit longer to dry. You need to be very careful while applying it as the eyeliner is a bit runny. The applicator is very thin and you can create both thin and thick lines with it. The eyeliner makes your eyes look stunning. It dries to a glossy finish which looks very pretty.

The staying power of the eyeliner is average. It stays on for 3 to 4 hours on my oily eyelids. It has a tendency to crease and it doesn’t fade evenly. The eyeliner indeed is smudge proof, but gets removed with water easily. The company needs to rethink its claim of the eyeliner being waterproof. While using this eyeliner for the first time, I had a difficult time applying it because of the applicator.

I would anytime prefer Maybelline Colossal Eyeliner over it. There are various other also options to choose from which come at a lower price tag than this and have better quality.

Would I Recommend Makeup Revolution London Black Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner?

No. It can be easily skipped without having a second thought. MUR has really disappointed me this time because of the cheap packaging. I would stick to buying eyeshadow palettes and lipsticks from MUR.
