My Experience with Makeup Revolution London Amazing Lipstick – Chic:

The lipstick is packaged in a classy black color case, on which name of the brand is written in gold. These lipsticks are color-coded. For easy identification of the shade, a tiny transparent tube on the cap that contains the color of the lipstick is present. The lipstick case is sturdy and locks in properly making it travel-friendly.

“Chic” is a shimmery pink shade. The pink is neither too loud nor too pale. It is a very subtle pink but with a twist. The twist is that this lipstick is packed with glitters and mind you that is loads of glitters. When I first opened the cap of the lipstick, I was heartbroken to see so much glitter. I thought I won’t be able to wear it, but after swatching on the hand and upon application on lips, I found that it is not what it first appears. I still don’t like that it is this shimmery, but it is not completely unwearable. This is due to the fact that the shimmer actually enhances the pink, but these glitters travel onto your face. It has a mild vanilla fragrance that vanishes quickly.

The texture of this lipstick is creamy and glides on the lips without any tugging or pulling. It is extremely lightweight and doesn’t feel heavy on the lips. The lipstick is neither hydrating nor drying. It does not settle into fine lines. It does not bleed but transfers quite a lot, especially just after application due to its creamy texture. But the glitters feel gritty when lips are rubbed together.

The pigmentation of this lipstick is good. A single swipe will give your lips pink color along with loads of glitters. It can easily be built up.

The lipstick has average staying power. It stayed on my lips for 2-2.5 hours with light meals in between.

The shade is really pretty, but the glitter is just too much. For me, it’s a no but if you fancy glitter, the pink is cute.
