Makeup Revolution London Amazing Lipstick in Nude Review

In my recent haul of Makeup Revolution products, I bought lipsticks also. Some of there were too good, some average. Here’s the first one. Read on to know if this one was good or average.

My Experience with Makeup Revolution London Amazing Lipstick in Nude:

The lipstick is packaged in a classy black case, on which the name of the brand is written in gold. These lipsticks are color coded. For easy identification of the shade, a tiny transparent tube on the cap that contains the color of the lipstick is present. The lipstick case is sturdy and locks in properly making it travel friendly.

“Nude” is a yes, n*de shade. It is a true matte n*de. It may wash out certain skin tones. It will go well only with smokey eyes, otherwise it may look too flat. It has a mild vanilla fragrance that vanishes quickly.

The texture of this lipstick is creamy and glides on the lips without any tugging or pulling. It is extremely lightweight and doesn’t feel heavy on the lips. The lipstick is a little drying thus one should remember to apply lip balm underneath. It does not settle into fine lines; does not bleed but transfers quite a lot, especially just after application due to its creamy texture.

The pigmentation of this lipstick is poor. You will need multiple swipes for the color to show up on your lips.

The lipstick has low staying power. It stayed on my lips for 1-1.5 hours with light meals in between.

• Poor pigmentation, needs multiple swipes.
• Transfers.
• Stays on for 1-1.5 hours with light meals.
